Apparently, according to Barrett on the TFS last night (yeah, i know), the process could kick on through trade week.
So far half the names suggested would be candidates for Hamilton's role as well.

Being only 1 year out as a player you'd think Lucas would know what the players are like and what they need etc.

Yeah Hamilton would be on the job. Hamilton would be looking over the new coach's shoulders 24/7 during trade week anyway.
Lucas has always struck me as being very intelligent.

He's certainly very articulate.
One of the first things that made me worry about Knights was the post season he got the job and he was asked about the gamestyle he wanted to introduce and he mentioned Scott Lucas passing the ball as a preference to taking low percentage shots. I just thought; wait and see if he bangs them through or not. If a player rates himself a chance but consistently misses, only then is it a problem.

I did say on a previous thread Knights wasnt going to be coach after the last Monday ..but they sacked him on the Sunday
For the Bombers players future make the appointment " sincere " .
I would like to see Williams first coach assisted by Laidley , Wallis and Lloyd .
We need people who will coach and " die " for the club not some coach with half crocked ideas .
We cant afford to lose Houli , Stanton etc to any other club .
Dont be surprised if Laidley gets the " coaches " job.

tbh, the recruitment policies are one area i would like to come under heavy scrutiny, seems we've been treading water in this area for a while now, maybe time for some new blood.

Dont see why we would undertake such a process if we hire an EXPERIENCED coach.
For example: Why would N.Daniher re-apply seeing he went the process in 2007.
Process is OK if they are hellbent on appointing a first time coach.
