So it pretty much mirrored our effort on the field then? I only ask because it wouldn't surprise me.. seems to me that the whole club is very flat for some reason. Doesn't seem to be much enjoyment on the field, celebrations are muted and no overlap running etc etc.

Maybe just a sense of relief they didn't blow it again and on to next week.

At the end of the day, if they can keep winning ugly hopefully things turn around later.

do you really think Carisle forward is the only issue, or even the major one here? There is a funk pervading the team that badly needs to be addressed. Watch them sing the song after the game - not one of them gives a **** at all. Someone kicks a goal, and barely anyone runs to congratulate them.

Hurley carving it up in defense and the cohesiveness of our whole defensive unit at the moment is one reason.

How about we wait until we have a full strength forward line first and see how he goes. With TBell coming back in it might free him up a bit.
