paralowie, you are not the only one to be sin binned during a game of netball.

apparantly you are not allowed to
1- shirt front the tosser on the other team
2- bounce the ball as hard as you can when the umpire calls you for contact when no contact was made
3- laugh at the umpires decisions

I think he was close to being sin binned again tonight, took out one poor girl, the only thing that saved him was her retaliation.

Hi everyone! New here, so thought I'd introduce myself...

Name: Stef

Age: 18

Location: Melbourne

Occupation: Student/Barista

AFL Team: Port Adelaide

SANFL Team: Port Adelaide Magpies

Membership/Season Tickets: Victorian Member

Other Teams: eh? As if!

Footy in the family: Mm, not that I know of.

Favourite Premiership and why: I'm too young to remember any of the Magpies premierships well enough, so I'd have to go with the 2004 ;)

Hmmm, an 18 year old student in my neck of the woods. So, how're you doing? Must...stop...now... ;)

Seriously, welcome Stef. I hope you enjoy the rollercoaster that posting here can be (particularly this season).

This question doesnt make sense

I would like to welcome myself to the board and apologise for my appalling and somewhat disgraceful behavior in the past and hope that you will all forgive and have mercy on me. I have a small confession, in that i was not taking my medication in recent times. However, this has been rectified and i am now a new reformed poster with the highest of intentions to be a valuable poster/shyte stirrer on the port power board. Thankyou for the kind reception.

As jars would say lets spread the love

After a few (very few) posts I guess I should introduce myself here.

Age: 38

Location: Western Suburbs of dear old Adelaide

Occupation: Customer Service Manager (with my below average people skills I still wonder how I have that job)

AFL Team: Port Adelaide

SANFL Team: Port Adelaide Magpies

Membership/Season Tickets: Member of both clubs and season ticket holder since day 1.

Other Teams: No other teams really but I enjoy seeing Aussie teams win anything. I quite like the cricket in the 'off season'.

Footy/Club History in the family: My parents never followed footy - I think I started as a form of rebellion. Followed the maggies because my best friend at primary school did. Also, one of my cousins played juniors at the maggies. One of my sisters is right into it and has come with me for many years. We were both smart enough to marry Port blokes.

Favourite Premiership and why: Can't pick a favourite - love every one of them I have ever seen, since the first in 1980. All those nights back at Alberton roll into one after a while. My favourite moment at maggies GFs has always been when the coffin goes around :p
The Power winning 2004 and being there was a dream come true!

Age: Not yet over the hill.

Location: Western Suburbs

Occupation: Liquor Store 50/50 owner

AFL Team: Port Adelaide

SANFL Team: Port Adelaide Magpies

Membership/Season Tickets: Member of both clubs.

Other Teams: -

Footy/Club History in the family: My relatives played for Geelong quite a few years ago, other than them i don't know of anyone else in my family that has played football in the sanfl/afl.

Favourite Premiership and why: 2004 because we had just beaten one of the greatest/best afl teams of all time.

Hi to all fellow suffering power supporters. I grew up in Woodville, and supported them through many hapless seasons.

I know what pathetic defeat looks like - and since I've supported Port Power (no great fan of Port Magpies by the way - oh yes, us 'Peckers/Warriors had our great moment beating the Magpies back in '86 first semi...remember?) I pretty much have come to forget how miserable it can feel. Well, until this season! At least back in 2000 we picked up in the second half of the season...alas it ain't looking too flash for '06-07!

But reading a few posts tonight I agree with introducing youth, but not in rush some suggest. Yet, I cannot, despite all the memories of season 2001, wait to see Primus depart the club. Disagree with those who'd ditch Gavin - but a Pierce, Pettigrew and Salopek all playing well next year would, perhaps, set things alight again...assuming the remaining exp. crew decide they care to earn their keep. Big assumption, maybe. And Williams, for mine is not to blame... any coach who manages a treble of top of table finishes does know a bit about the game.

...and, the Crows, cannot, must not, win another Flag!
