Is there much of a rivalry there Ray? Long time they were premier league and your lot weren't, and I think you went up around the same time they went down - I'd say there's a feeling of scores to settle.

It's a strange rivalry because we had a long time where we didn't play each other. It's nowhere near the level of the rivalry with the Vile or Wolves, probably around the level of the rivalry with Albion, but with a bit more edge.

I think a lot of Blues fans think that Cov reckon they're a lot bigger than what they are because they had all those years in the top flight. I know I used to find it galling that they were there and we were not and that they'd go around saying Vile-Cov was now the big West Midlands derby.

Solihull (which of course adjoins Coventry with the green belt between the two) is also full of Blues fans so you also have that geographic proximity that adds to it.

Should be a cracking tie, really hope we send 'em packing.

Everton, at Goodison!!!!

WTF!!!

What happened to our usual soft draws until the semi finals?

Southampton v Manchester United

I couldn't be happier with the draw. :thumbsu:

It gives our players the chance to take on the #1 team in the country on our own turf in front of 32,000 people with nothing to lose before allowing them to concentrate on the league.

With only 22 of the 46 league games completed and promotion to play for it's going to be a crazy few months ahead.

The only possible negative would be that the build-up to the game could take the focus off our league campaign but I think the excitement will make up for that. Adkins is a very good manager and the signing of Chaplow and the re-signing of Adam Lallana has topped off a pretty decent start to the new year.

I called our season done and dusted with my head in my hands at 2:30am the morning we drew with Aston Villa 3-3, so the cup games are all I have in terms of gaining success. Drawing Everton away has me a little nervous because of the sometimes unpredictibly of our form at the moment and the cup itself, but we should be right.

I agree, it's a terrible competition - get out of here FA Cup.

At least there's midweek EPL games.
