One of the best soccer weekends of the season today and tomorrow

Who will be upset ?

I think Villa can beat Man U

and Charlton may struggle away to Gillingham, as they seem to not like Cup football.

I fancy Norwich to beat Everton, and wouldnt be totally shocked if Kiddie Harriers upset Wolves. Leeds beating Arsenal would be more of a surprise to me.

I think Palace are a chance at Spurs who are in the horrors. Palace are 18th in Div 1 but apart from Norwich the leaders, nobody has won more away in the league than us.

Even if beaten the money will be most welcome.

Tough one at St. Marys, i would be happy to settle for a draw to take the replay back up north to St. James. Other then that i would settle for a win :D

You would wanna hope for a bloody good performance since Freddy has come out and attacked the players.

I have a bad feeling about the Boro against Notts County. Hope not but its hard to see where our goals are coming from at the moment. In other games hopefully Hartlepool can beat Sunderland and Southampton finish off Newcastle's season:D

I also reckon that Norwich is a great chance of beating Everton. I also give Kiddie a chance over Wolves as well given that it is a local derby, so anything can happen.

As for Birmingham City, I fancy us to beat Blackburn at home, I don't see us getting turned over 0-4 again! I won't be too bothered if we lose though (providing the Vile get done as well) because Premiership survival is the most important thing for us and the Cup is just a distraction. So 'C'mon Blues!' but if we lose, ... meh.

Apparently TV replays show that the ball didn't cross the line in the Watford Chelski match. Oh well, Watford nearly scored another, bit of work to do for for Romans lads.

Southampton are certs

If, in a season where NUFC finish 3rd they can't beat Wolves away in the 3rd round, how are they going to beat Southampton away on current form?

Newcastle haven't won at Southampton for 25 years!!!

It's al; up against the Toon

I don't think I'm, being overly negative either, I thought this draw was a baddie as soon as I heard about it.

I think the best us Toon fans can hope for is a draw, and then we'll smash them in the return leg up St James

Second half has just started.

Sheffield U are 1-0 up at Cardiff through Wayne Allison and Bolton have equalized at Tranmere through Kevin Nolan

Sheffield United, last years semi finalists who lost to Arsenal, are the first to advance to the 4th round. Tranmere and Bolton are going to a replay at the Reebok, and it's still 2-2 at Vicarage.

Birmingham City 4-0 Blackburn Rovers. Why couldn't this have been the League result instead of the Cup one!:o

Came at a cost too with Upson picking up a serious looking injury and Lazaridis also going off injured. Clinton Morrison did bag one though so that is encouraging.
