Some massive overreactions in this thread already. Bethesda have been known to botch a console version of their games in the past so I wouldn't be surprised if sections of this game ran like horse shit. I took MB's post as more of a 'that's disappointing by Bethesda' rather than a 'PC's are the best' post.

There's every chance the PC version is buggy as all hell as well. We'll find out in the coming hours/days/months.

Thank you, wasn't an attack on consoles at all. I'm just as worried the PC version will be wonky! It's as simple as if one version of the game is running not so great, there's a significantly increased chance others version will suffer similar faults.

Surely they can thoroughly test a game before they actually lead to launch or ready for distribution. How did games ever manage before the internet? I think it is a cop out to expect people to spend $90+ dollars for an incomplete game only to expect them to download a patch to fix issues.

What a piece of shit.

I saw some update in steam at like 7.59pm (in WA remember) so I thought it might let you unpack an hour or so before its officially released.
Surely they'd give you the option to unpack before release so you can play right away.

I know its only like 30 minutes or so, but as chems are to a fiend, fallout is my addiction.

14 minutes for me.

I definitely have problems.
