I started playing Fallout 4 a few weeks ago and completely lost interest before long. I don't know what I'm missing but I don't understand the appeal of this game at all. Totally boring.

Have you played any of the previous games? I don't really feel like 4 is the best introduction to the series for newcomers. I myself was quite bored in the first couple of hours of this and I have played through 3 and New Vegas many times. I only kept going because I had waited years for the game and I knew there would be a pay off eventually.

I never found it boring so to speak, but I was waiting for that point where it went from alright to amazing - after about 50 hours I think I realized that point was never coming.

I don't think there is ever a wow moment in Fallout games. It's hook is always the amalgamation of different systems, and the vastness of the world.
Blowing up Megaton?

Blowing up Megaton?
Blowing up the Institute was also rather epic, but also left me with "what now?" as I can't muster the patience to grind out the minuteman stuff.

Survival mode was pretty solid, just a shame the story falls apart in the 2nd half of the game.
Just a notificaiton for this game. I got up to the part where you discover your son is now old and works in a random building somewhere. Am i far from finishing the game?

About half way.

fook. I was a bit burnt out by that stage and would consider finishing the story if i was close. Still hadnt got around to doing the Alien spaceship thing either. Remember getting the jetpack and feeling like i had conquered the game :'(

As far as story goes I'd say about 60-70%. It also depends if you want to destroy all the factions you don't commit to. I ended up working for the minutemen but didn't make the brotherhood or railroad hate me enough to become enemies.

I just got back into it and browsed the CC content. Some are alright content to buy (i used my free 700 credits as I linked my bethesda account)
- Tshirt bundle gives some alright clothing.
-Tunnel Snakes Rules quest
- Slocom Joe diner creation
- Arcade bundle
- Atom cat armour paintjob

Still kinda disappointed that they arent utilising what the players are wanting: More quests, more areas to unlock. Not just retextured weapons and armour.

Also the packs of credits are way overpriced. $54 for 5,500 credits. Cheapest is 750cred for $10.

Av price of a cc item is around 100 credits. Cheapest is 50cred for a pipboy paint job.

I like the free Creation Club things they release in dribs and drabs. All cosmetic things like paint jobs for armour and power armour and the pip-boy, nothing even remotely useful yet of course, but I am glad I wasn't one of the jive suckers who actually paid REAL MONEY for that horse armour shite.

Wait how do you get free credits
There was a way that if you had a bethesda.net account and you linked it to the console they gave you free credit. Not sure if they still did it but I havent spent a dime of my own money and just got the top rated cc content.

Only one I am yet to get is the coffee shop pack to make my own diner.

The free stuff they put up on rotation is junk. I did like the atom cat armour paint and gunner for the skulls.

Anything Eleanora releases is a must have in my eyes.

The clothing shirts are awesome. Rocking the Grognak shirt with the boots and torn jeans is better than the cloth like rubbish that Bethesa started with.

I always preffered letting the Ghouls through the back gate at Tenpenny Tower so they **** up all those snobby campaigners living there.
Perfect gif for your reaction to the carnage
