Ahhhhh!!! I can't believe I didn't see this before I finished work..which happens to be on hoddle st. I'm at nightschool now darn it :( can't wait to hear what happens though!

Was a solid few hours of discussion! Was great to hear what is coming up and provide some feedback. Think everyone shared a view or 20 ;) high lights prob were club is keen to provide way more content we want (think training, interviews etc), new facilities will be a game changer, and big one for me - club only makes less than 1% for gear not bought at the tiger den vs 40% for tiger den purchases!!
 
yeah, that was fun! i just lurked up the end (i was the dude who ate up all the food in the white and blue/green checked shirt up the end) that scurried off to catch the train... thanks for having us RFC_Official!
 
Fantastic night! Thank RFC_Official. Felt like a fool at one stage when no one got my joke but other than that, great to see a few a guys from here. ;)

# - Greater fan access to players
# - greater player involvement digitally IE;twitter accounts/blogs etc. (they can't be forced they have to want to do this)
# - collating and gathering all tiger media releases onto one forum
# - streaming Coburg games through ours or another website (massive thumbs up:thumbsu:)
# - using the punt rd. facilities much more on match days , BBQ's , family activities , injured players on hand to meet and greet.

got to have a close up squizz at the new training jumpers... no major sponsor on there yet (some people were saying they were photoshopped out). membership launch tomorrow!

The last point does sound very exciting.
All of those ideas do sound really good and it sounds like we actually have a plan to back up a vision for once.
Who was their? Gale, March and the board no Hardwick or any other people from the football department.

Like it, a shame I had to decline the invitation, hopefully next year I can make it.

just RFC_Official and the media men. excited about the extra Coburg coverage if that eventuates. everyone seemed pretty receptive and the people there all had pretty good ideas. seemed like a good group of brains.

i added this to my original post .

The feeling i get is Ben Cousins has been acknowledged as having been HUGE for the RFC but he still has a very big fight on his hands and it is in no way over .

I'm sure we are more than being in his corner but he is being left alone to get himself sorted .

I really hope we see him back at Punt rd. someday

Benny was leaving as i was walking in ... hopped into a lovely Audi he did

None of the above . The guy running all this for the RFC was @ Windy Hill for 10 years up until 3 months ago which i was not aware of and found interesting
 
Of yeah, when you hop off the train for a richmond game they want you to be walking to the Richmond home ground, looking to put a BBQ back in place at the ground for pre match snag. Also to open the social club, before and after the game.

Watch out the Royal here we come

Interesting to hear how much the difference the club makes from purchases at the tiger den.

Everyone make note. I only ever buy from there anyways.
 
A big element of the feedback was making Punt Rd. a hub pre and post match, barbeques, large utilization of the Social Club, injured players present etc

'Richmondization" of the G, branding everywhere, maybe flag or banner giveaways.

Club is interested in expanding the media front, looking at Bigpond Nation, facebook, more chats, interviews, podcasts.

They're basically keen on involving the fans and providing the best experience possible.
 
Awesome night and good to meet quite a few from here and PRE, not to mention the media guys at the club in Simon, Cameron and RFC_Official who is definately a switched on bloke who spoke well and has obviously done a lot of work in this area, as have the the first two gents named.

Some well spoken, intelligent Tiger fans in the group who attended which is surprising :D but was good to see!

Club definately working hard and is doing its utmost to get the mighty RFC back to where we belong.

Forgot to mention the best part, when RFC_Official was talking about training today, he mentioned Cotchin just showed up, wasn't supposed to be there, and just became "the captain of training".
