Mahrez was a dud selection. Would've picked D.Silva from the off if he was available GW1. Will definitely be bringing him in.

He got given the assist, so not all bad.

3 assists in 2 games from a defender is fantastic, though. He has such an attacking playstyle. He's going to have some big hauls this season.

Still a bit salty about that first assist, and the lost CS. Thought it might have been a master stroke captaining him, but would have been better sticking with Aguero.

Could have been worse I guess.

I was so conflicted on who to captain and eventually went Mendy over Aguero and Salah.

I would have been on 72 with 5 players left if I captained Kun, instead only on 60.

Gutted. I'm never listening to rumours ever again about players being rested unless there's concrete ****ing evidence.

I have Aguero as captain but it was a gamble. Was certainly worried 20 minutes before the teams were announced when there were rumours it was just Jesus upfront. If you play the game making risky picks like that regularly you will most likely come out behind.

Out of interest, why drop Richie to your bench?

It's either him, Ings or Fraser. Bournemouth have only conceded 1 goal in 2 games and have looked pretty solid defensively so far. I might bench Fraser over him so I don't have to rely on 2 Bournemouth players. Not sure.

Thinking of Wild carding to this.. Never been afraid of using the 1st one early for corrections.

I know there is a lot of coin in defence, but Alonso/Mendy look absolute musts, even Trippier if Spurs keep playing 2 WB's and he keeps sharing dead balls with Eriksen.

Ings has looked good for Soton, solid bench cover, and Pedro likewise with Sarri's game style suiting him.

I've seen a lot of people bringing Pedro in. Who gets dropped out of him and Willian for Hazard? Last season Willian started alot more than Pedro but a new coach this season could change that.

King and Cairney seem like obvious outs but I'm not sure on replacements. Downgrading one to Jimenez/Mitrovic/Fraser/whoever doesn't really get me enough to bring in an obvious upgrade so not sure how much there is to be gained. Bernardo Silva having a day off on the right touchline is also a bit of a concern if that's going to be Pep's preferred anti-bus setup.
