Love it! A genuine FPS that you can stealth in. All I've been doing is taking down outposts with my bow and knife. Amazing, so far GOTY for mine.

Just went to a quiet shack to pick up one of those bounty posters, nek minnut 3 cars full of dudes rock up. Kill them, and 5 or 6 more show up on foot. Intense.

Died there, and spawn at radio tower. Run out a bit and there's 5-7 guys forming a road block searching through the bushes = leg it.

I picked it up from EB for $68, interestingly they are advertising online for $88. Maybe because it is next door to JB who had it for $69.

Great game so far, i did the first few missions and have spent the rest of the time upgrading weapon and ammo holsters.

Damn this game is entertaining.

Although I really wish I had a bigger wallet and rucksack. After any small bit of exploration I have both full and have to fast travel back to town to sell off all the loot. And I have no idea where to find the weird animals stated for the 2nd upgrades of both. Also want all 4 weapon slots open! (annoying that you have to carry the repair tool around with you in one of those slots too, in FC2 it was just an automatic thing)

It's also hard to get used to the AI's sightlines being far lesser than that of Hitman's which I'm coming off (and still yet to finish). I keep sticking really far back and ducking into cover real fast thinking that the slightest glimpse of me will have me seen and done away with, even though it's almost the opposite (as long as you're crouching in a bit of bushland, you can be about 2 metres away from them and they still won't see you!).

I can't get over how good the gunplay is though, from how janky it was in Far Cry 2 to this. It's one of the best games I've played in terms of how the guns feel to shoot.

It's awesome seeing the wildlife in play just as you're going about your business too. Seeing dogs/tigers stalk and chase down their prey or watching a Croc or Shark just swim around. The world feels so alive with all the different wildlife they've packed in, compared to the 4 or 5 different animals they had in FC2.

With the bigger rucksack, I think you need to find Pig Skins, Pigs from what I have found aren't really spawning in a set location, rather random.

Eventually Shark Skins will be the one you have to go for to make large wallets and a bigger rucksack.. kill 4 sharks to make them both.

When I was hunting sharks I was too ****ing scared to jump in the water! All I could see was shark fins and so I had to keep killing them close to shore.

Sounds sick. Glad to hear it looks good too, was very worried cos most of footage I have seen looks fantastic on PC. Might just grab it on PS3 cos I know even though I could play on high settings on PC, I just know it will cause issues.

It looks and runs fine on my PC which is hardly beastly. There has been some talk that people have been having some issues running it in dx11 but if you bump it down to dx9 it runs great. If you have a capable PC you'd be mad to get this on console.

The framerate on the opening cutscenes was abhorrent, but after that it has run nice and smooth.

yeah got that as well but so far have had no issues in the few hours played on ps3.
Was a bit worried after watching some of the videos with screen tearing and Good Games review,footage looked washed out,dull but that could be my tv.
