Another great episode!

The scene with Danson's character pulling over the car was tense and fantastic.

Anyone else squirm with the meat coming out of the grinder??? Ick!

I'm also loving the quirky soundtrack -- that song about staying ahead of the posse whilst fat Damon was mopping up the blood made me piss myself laughing.

yeah, the good old days before DNA of being able to use a butcher's meat grinder to help disappear those pesky bodies;)

Soundtracks good & love the accents, reckon if I ever went there & heard someone say 'oh geez' I would just crack up.

This show has really balanced ridiculous and uneasy tension really well. The stand-off between Ted Danson on the lone stretch of winter road was quite menacing in it's politeness but also hilarious. The twins giving him the finger made me giggle initially, but then the explanation that they were just saying size 11 had me snort-laughing. They've really done well in keeping the Coen Brothers tone in place while adding their own flavour to it.

Another good episode. Really enjoying it at the moment. Yeah, Patrick Wilson was very good in those two stand-offs. "You make us sound like a prog rock band. Mike Milligan and the Kitchen Brothers" :D

Poor type-writer guy. He was always going to cop it.

What a fantastic second season so far.

Stand-off between Solverson and the Gerhardts was ridiculously intense.
I loved how he looked fearless.

"I think you're dancing with the wrong girl."

This season is absolute top shelf. Everything about the production is awesome. Could just watch it for art direction/cinematography alone.

Great episode again.

Whoever said Patrick Wilson is killing it is spot on.

Also the bloke playing Milligan has nailed it. :thumbsu:
The Milligan character is sensational.

Love when he said the thing about him being rude, but nice about it.
THe Tricky Dicky "I'm not a crook" was my favourite line of the season thus far.

"Ladies & gentleman......Mike Milligan and the Kitchen brothers [YAY !!!]"

:D

I only just realised that Patrick Wilsons character [Lou Solverson] is Keith Carradines character from season one and his daughter Molly is the one who went on to be a cop.Of course mum wasn't in season one as she obviously dies from cancer.

What year was season one set in again ?
Season two is 1979

'06.

And it's going to be great to witness what turned Solverson away from a law-enforcement career to opening a diner. :)

Thanks Perth :D

Really starting to hit it's stride now, Solverson's trip to Fargo was pretty epic. 'High noon kinda day' lol. Agree that Patrick Wilson is killing it, particularly liked his scenes with the Fargo detective - when the guy drops him off at the typewriter shop and makes an excuse about having to get back to the station or whatever, Solverson's subtle reaction is gold.

Didn't realise the younger blonde chick was was the daughter of eldest Gerhardt brother, thought she was his sister. Which makes her line to him when he hits her about 'getting hard' pretty weird

and the other kid is Bear's [Angus Sampson]
I just love how Bear keeps going to the fridge and pulls out a leg of meat and starts chomping away on it.

Who is the woman that's always in the background in the kitchen preparing the things to be baked in the Gerhardts house ?
I assume it's not grandma [Otto's wife]

I just assumed she's hired help, hasn't had any lines has she?
