for imports stellas artois is heaven
and a japanese beer asaki i rated very highly

Asahi? Nice drop that....
Backs or Heiniken over Stella for mine, also discovered Krolshberg (or something simular) at a trade show - very nice.

If ya like Crownies, just buy Carlton Draught - from the same vat, just different labels.

And obviously I'm a massive fan of all coopers has to offer

It is amazing how often you hear people repeating this. Sorry, it's what we call an urban myth. An old wives tale. It's not true.

While on the Gold Coast last week, i stopped and had a few Kilkenny Irish Cream Ales at O'Reillys, Tavill Ave in Surfers.

Poured from the tap, like cream in the glass...........pure heaven, i could have sat at that bar with that beer forever, watching the world go by. :p

If Kilkenny was 5.1% instead of 4.1% and cheaper, I would agree with you. But it is basically just a really expensive mid strength.

Moo Brew - Pale Ale. Tasmanian Beer brilliant stuff my favorite Australian Beer. very much worth trying

If it was 5.1% it would probably change the creaminess and taste, and anything over 4% cant be regarded as a mid strength.

I agree with the price, 7 bucks a pint is very steep. But i saved up for a good holiday so i was hell bent on enjoying it. Had a few Guinnesses too, the lass that served me was pure Irish, dark hair and green eyes, she was a cracker.

Don't know whether I've asked this, but has anyone tried any of the Brewboys (South Aussie Micro) gear? Cool labels and good beer - haven't had the Lager, but the Hefe, Stout and Belgian style ales are all killer, and reasonably priced.

For Crimson Azure (and others out in Melb's west) - they're stocked at the Malt & Vine.

Weather it's true or not - both beers are really bad!

Little Creatures Pale Ale.

Very nice little brewery LC. Their Bright Ale is gold!

Personally, I prefer the Pale Ale. The Pale has heaps of flavour, which is what I tend to look for in ales. The Bright Ale would be a great summer session beer though.

Tried Southwark Stout tonight. Not too bad, but as far as SA stouts go, the Coopers one shits all over it.

You'd love Perth then. God our pint prices are a ****ing rip off.
