King-size Homer - season 7,episode 7

it's the episode where Homer purposely gains weight to avoid the power plants excerise program

Very good ep. My favourite was 'The boy stuck down the well' but i haven't seen it in ages. I just remember watching it and thinking it was one of the best i've ever seen.

It was only a matter of time before another one of these threads was created.

My favourite episode is when Sideshow Bob runs for mayor. Most people would have "last exit to springfield" as their favourite episode (the one where Homer becomes a union rep so he doesn't have to pay for Lisa's braces.).

It's like choosing a favorite Beatles song..

Reckon I'll go with the lemon tree ep as I like the ones that centre around the kids as a group and this is probably the best.

Runners up
The one where they bought a comic book
The one where bart, neslon, milhouse etc drive interstate.

"Homer Bad Man" is my fav.. "So, Mr Simpson... You admit you grabbed her can??"

Too many.

Homer bad man, Last exit to springfield have been mentioned. The monorail episode, the bee sharp episode, the episode they get santas little helper is golden

There have been a few fine episodes

Can't split em, 3 favourite eps that are all comedy gold

The joy of sect- The episode with The leader, many priceless moments in this ep

Cape Fear- Sideshow Bob is released from prison and the simpsons are relocated. Brilliant episode

Homer the great- Stonecutters episode

'And Maggie Makes Three' would be mine, underrated episode.

Other faves are 'Flaming Moe's', 'You Only Move Twice' and 'Homer at the Bat'.

From a new series POV, the Angry Dad episode is brilliant (The simpsons episode with Stan Lee and Bart drives Homer bonkers with his online comic book stunt featuring Homer as a psychotic father)

Can't forget "A star is Burns"

Is that the movie episode with Jay Sherman (the Critic) ???

What a classic !!!

I like that episode where Bart and the kids are baby sited by the psychotic baby sitter as well, that was pretty cool (season 1)

Yep brilliant ep imo.

Best scene however is in 22 short films about springfield between Skinner and Chalmers. I was in tears after watching that scene.

Trash of the Titans is also pretty damn funny (the ep with Steve Martin with Homer running for Sanitation commissioner)

"Aurora Borealis? At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the country? Localized entirely within your kitchen?

"SEYMOUR THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE!"
"no mother it's just the northern lights."

gold:D:thumbsu:
When I was a kid first watching that I missed a lot of the jokes in that scene, absolutely brilliant. 22 Short Films would be up there as one of my favourite episodes too, every scene is a beauty.

"Misuse of the cadavers" "I get here earlier when I drive in the carpool lane"

"Smithers, I'll get you to a hospital - the only way I know how."

I also love the episode where Bart has to testify at Freddy Quimby's trial.
