Thanks for the love jmac70. Even when you and I are jousting in the covid thread, I never feel personally threatened. I know that you are sincere in your view, and I disagree with them to an extent, but you remain the same tenacious yet good hearted person. There is no pretence to you - where other posters produce photos of their meals fashioned from expensive cuts and fine wines, you counter with your chicken wings, IPA's and old fashioned brick veneer. I would love to enjoy a beer and a laugh with you one day. So I return the love.

I have already mentioned my love for sr36 and the Gimp. I would add to them Good Horse who has endured a lot in life but hangs in there and is a very fine and intelligent writer. He does a lot that goes unnoticed behind the scenes.

I love the way jmac70 you maintain a sustained campaign against all odds in the football threads, defending the coach or players against what many would consider overwhelming opposition. Never change.

He is really, really funny.

Funny men are sexy, of course, but there's no doubt he'd be seriously sexy even if he was seriously serious.

And then there is his knowledge of the game, a dazzling combination of learning and intuition, which has made this board a richer place for a number of years now.
