I heard on the news that fev injured his knee at training. anybody know how bad it is? I'm crapping my dacks.
 
3AW is going with he has cracked his tooth, nothing more serious than that. That was what they opened with on SportsToday at 6pm.

No structural damage .. so looks like he is ok ... may have injured it the same way he did during our game with the Roos last year.

And we all know how he performed when he returned.

IIRC he "stretched" his PCL (posterior cruciate) vs Roos last year. this will make the knee slightly 'wobbly', or lax. He seemed to tweek it during the NAB cup final just before the final siren, reached down to it a couple of times (at the time commentators thought maybe a hammy).

Should be fine - will pull up sore from time to time.:thumbsu:
 
maby its the same knee he did last year ?
hard to really Judge it only he and the club really
knows how it is

Can't say that I recall the incident that you are talking about. Hopefully he'll be right to take on the Tigers on Sunday.

I think it was against Brisbane actually HBF. Last quarter, may have been 3rd quarter. He marked the ball, and was outside fifty, and went back to take the kick.

i remember him grabbing his knee, and almost trying to stretch it back into place. My heart sanK :(

I remember that being his final shot on goal for that game, he marked the ball, went to ground, got up slowly and started rubbing his knee. His kick went way off.

I think his knee was just sore. He should be right for Sunday. Well, I'm hoping that's all there is.

But I do remember him rubbing his knee after a shot on goal in the final quarter. It's probably just general soreness.

i hope he does do his knee, would be so funny watching the carlton team running around without him
 
If I recall, I think Fev did rub his knee in the final but I think it was to clean it up a bit as he was attempting a mark prior to it and went to ground on his knees then got up to chase.
