fev will never ever be classed as a champion with me a very very good footballer yes but would you ever see a champion like sticks ever put in a sulky perfomance on a equally sook forward come defender like tarrant as fev did last week . one difference folks fev a star no doubt but fev is all a bout fev and mr kernahan is like iam a member for 25 years given the chance i would bleeeed navy blue if i could. i think our young stars kruez murpf & gibbs are following that example which is being set by a man who one day will stand along side the great carlton legends a man who injury will not stop his leadership and gut wrenching attack on the football

I'm pissed ATM but i can tell a few of you blokes are as well. Jarrad waite has more skill and athleticism than his dad but his dad might have been harder at it. Who cares, they are both with out a doubt very very good footballers.

As for the fev comment, most of it really is really played above the shoulders, his weakness. Resilience, heart, dedicated, desire, toughness, ability to play through pain, positive attitude in bad times, leader, mental toughness, focused, Discipline, positive response to a bad outcome, never give up attitude, knowing only one way to play, dedicated, high work rate, 100% effort, sacrifice, plays to win regardless, endurance, spirit peoples champion. These words DON'T Describe Brendan Fevola.

These do... Selfish, opportunist, lazy, heartless, self cantered, bad concentration, showman, drama actor, poorly directed focus, inconsistent, plays to look good, finds easy excuses for poor efforts, gutless, unreliable.

Fevola>>>>>>>>>>day light>>>>>>>>>>>>Tony Lockett. Why? See above.

No, but once upon a time you would often see Brent Crosswell put in sulky performances like that in between starring roles (including premiership BOGs), and only an idiot would say he wasn't a champion.

There's an emotional roller-coaster inside Fev's head, and we're all aboard - whether we like it or not. The thing that let's him pull off the impossible is the same thing that causes him to crack it with everything at once. Perhaps he's manic. He's not Dunstall or Locket, and it's madness to try and turn him into a robot at 28. Just accept we have a flawed genius - and that he'll supply the heroics if we can get him to the biggest stage.

Is is an absolute champion and superstar of the game...

He has been tormented playing in a crap side for so many years... thats his problem...

Last week....

Feeling crap about the week before vs dawks...
Not 100% fit to start with...
Slightly injured during warm up...
Playing on an unfamiliar ground not worthy of AFL...
Playing a crap side in Freo..
Playing on another full forward...
Playing in front of only 9-10,000 after playing in front of 60-70,000 week before...
Possibly bad week in his personal life...

He would have thought WTF am i doing here.... Give me a ****ing spell...

This was bound to happen. Only disappointing thing besides the loss was the fact his game affected the rest of the forwards then spread like cancer throughout the team. I was there watching them thinking is this the same team i was watching the week before... it was a surreal moment.. it has scared me away from going interstate to watch them again...

This may go down as the best comment I've read on this board....
