God i am soo pumped for this game. I'm allready getting pissed off at the faults in 09 that they have corrected in 10 lol.

Still, I loved 09. Bloody great game.

At GC09 the devs said that they will be looking to majorly improve online and matchmaking.

They'll have new filters that are for Game Speed, Team Star Rating, Controller Settings, Number of Players and will also improve matchmaking by basing it on your skill level and location around the world.

So hopefully that at the club sections will be improved massively and we can actually get a BigFooty team going this year.

Also there's this awesome feature if we can get it going and working well:
Pro Club Championship
Take your Virtual Pro online and compete in EA SPORTS 10 v 10 Pro Club Championship. Clubs can join one of the 11 regional leagues, win trophies each month, as well as climb to the top of the overall World Leaderboard. Up to 50 friends can sign for a Club and once you're in a Club you can also download your friends' Game Faces.

It's a fairly long video running at 7:36, but it's worth it if you want to see some of the innovations, improvements, etc.

Thanks for that H, watching it now.

I really do hope that they improve the Stadium Manager in 10. In 09, no matter what you did to the stadium manager, the actual stadium didnt get bigger. That really shit me.
 
Holy shit how good was that Barca goal!?! Even better, it was against those Real pigs.

Attacking doesn't look that much better, allthough 360 looks promising.

Defending looks freakin sweet! Finally dumbarse defenders wont let the ball fly past their face on the way to their opponents awaiting head.

Yeah, FKs look sweet. Could possibly make the game too easy. But definetily a blue print for an awesome system and it's obviously a big improvement on this year crappy free kicks. I've probably only scrored about 25 out of 300

It is a fantastic video. I'm stoked by everything I saw. Attacking doesn't look all too different but I noticed a lot smoother play and it looked like goals can be scored in much more of a variety this year.

I don't think the FK's will make the game easier. Will just make FK's a lot more dangerous as they bloody well should be (Which I found in 09 was more a pain in the arse than a blessing to get a free kick). If it's done right you'll be able to have your own special plays and whoever you're playing against will have to make sure they don't fall asleep and actually defend the free kick. Quick free kicks (Which are new this year) will be a great inclusion too.
 
I can score, or atleast test the keeper 9 times out of 10. Took a ****ing long time to get used to but at the start screen just practice heaps. Once you can line it up, a quick tap of the shoot button and its in.

Read somewhere that they probably won't be having custom free kicks in Online, along with man marking from 09.

I'm not really talking about shooting for goal (Although that will most likely have been stopped by now as you can see in that 7 minute trailer the goal keeper reacts differently).

I am talking more about making it dangerous in that the players around and in that it will be more realistic to that. There will still be the option of going for a goal shot, which has been improved even more by allowing the ability to shoot along or closer to the ground.

WOW, this is even better than that 7 minute video.

A FULL MATCH FROM THE FIFA 10 DEMO!!! (Excuse the shithouse players though)

You get to see everything in play here, right off the bat you notice the 360 dribbling and how different it already makes the game and how fluid it looks as well.

Ball physics also look a shitload better too.

Even though the guy probably takes the shot a little too early, you can see the improved GK AI when one guy gets a break away at about 6:50 in. The GK closes the angle down quickly (On his own, this isn't a User controlled GK moment) and the player shoots it wide.

There's a ton of other things to pick up on too. All the subtle little changes in AI, animation, etc.

Absolutely stoked with how this is turning out, next step is to actually play the demo.:)

True, seems like it's the same 2 blokes again. I actually really liked the commentary DLC that they brought out a few months after release for '09. It was a rip off at $8.45 and it was the commentary taken from the UEFA Euro 08 game (Literally straight from it, not even slightly modified) but the duo was far better than the FIFA guys.

Yeah I know the other guy wasn't much better. Should've had about 4 or 5 goals with a little more patience.
