OMFG, I thought he was like 50 billion. Would have gotten this overrated guy for sure. I ended up getting Di Maria.
How did Giroud go for you? Despite my personal opinion of him, I could not believe he had finishing 86. He missed 95% of his shots.
Tempted to sell someone and try get Neymar. Walcott is so damn quick but he misses a lot of chances.

Did Wilshere not want to leave Arsenal in the first transfer window mundy? Should play oxlade-chamberlain a fair but as he has high potential.
 
Nah Wilshere is fine, he's gone up to 85 from 82 I think it was. I play the Ox quite a bit but he isn't that great.
I was actually starting Miquel over Vermaelen until Miquel did his knee. I use Coquelin a bit as well. Someone told me his potential though

Yeah I was surprised that I got Neymar for so cheap too.

Sold Ben Arfa to Inter for 26m after they offered 13, took that money and boought Neymar. Ox has gone up from 75 to 79, only in Feb of season one.

Pissed off Suarez straight away to Real Madrid cause I hate him and picked up Muniain.
Sold Reina and got De Gea.
Muniain lead both goal scoring and assists for the season!
 
Turns out I advanced one day and the PSV job was gone. **** Sydney FC are shit now but I have to stick with them. What annoys me is players who are 32 and 33 (Bosschaart, Griffiths) going down 5 overall ratings in one season. That just doesnt happen. Emerton went from a 69 to a 60 in one season so I offloaded him.

Team at the start of season 2:

Necevski
Grant - Bosschaart - Griffiths - Fabio
Gligor - Previtali
Vokes
A.R.Traore - Finizza - Yau

Most of those guys you probably wouldn't recognise. Necevski has been amazing for me in goal but is getting on. Fairly aging back four apart from Grant. Gligor is a young 18-y.o. doing alright, Previtali a cheapy I signed last year but is depleting at 31. Vokes a free agent who took some convincing but at 19 y.o. should progress well. Abdou Razack Traore, we should all know about him, if not he's a hidden gem, over 90 pace and beastly left foot. Finizza is my main man out of nowhere, 82 overall at just 18.yo, so many stats in the 90's it's insane. Yau and Ali Abbas off the bench are basically the same players. Chianese and Mallia are good value off the subs also. Sold off Petratos (regrettably) and Antonis unfortunately has a 4-month injury.

Good fun, but hell do I want to get through this season quickly and move to another league.

Looking into acquiring Ayew next season. Fernando too if I can from Porto. Should pick up Dede for your defence. Cheap, fast and good.

Get this dude - Adryan - got 2 goals on debut. I reckon he will turn out excellent. Cost me like less than 4 mill.
 
Had the toughest match of my career so far in Cheltenham Town, faced Manchester United in the first knock out phase of the Capital One cup. I had only lost 1 match prior to this in the pre-season/exhibition phase... and have run through the season with wins in every game since. Found their defence hard to break through, did create a few chances in the early part of the first half..... but not able to score. Managed to find my way through in the 39th minute.

From the second half it was as though Man Utd had given up, straight from the kick off i bolted and crossed the ball and scored from a volley kick. Then the flood gates had opened substantially, scoring another 3 goals. However they regained their super human strength in the 80th minute, and managed to peg 1 goal back. Still won 5 - 1.

I signed Roux from Lille for 6m but he's a bit eh, will sell him at season's end.
 
So how do international offers come up? Just like the other club opportunities come up, through an email or on the screen?

I'm sitting midtable with about eight games to go. I played two this morning, and managed a win and a draw. I remember on FIFA10 or 12 or something, I was in the Championship with Coventry. I won the last ten games of the season and scraped into the play-offs on goal diff. We managed to win promotion. I'm kind of hoping I do the same, but I'm gettin' some killer injuries and suspensions. Ugh.

I've had an offer from two German clubs, but unless they were Borussia or Hertha Berlin or something, I wouldn't even consider it – it's all about my Tractor Boys at the moment.

Anyone know any decent free agents in the season 1/2 off-season? I pissed off Michael Chopra (went twelve games scoreless, the media was hounding him), and the second string strikers have been pretty meh (Jason Scotland, etc...). Looks like it's raining today, so I might forfeit the Glory game and finish off my season instead.

You get an email. Had Australia offer me the job after managing the West Sydney Wanderers for 6 games for only 2 wins. Now playing as Arsenal I'm sitting on top of the league 6 points clear and undefeated and I haven't been offered anything, I did get an email saying Belgium and Ireland were interested. Was almost 2 months ago and I haven't heard anything since, would love to manage Belgium.

i am playing as Liverpool, Reina got the sooks up and wanted out, sold suarez to Real for nearly 50 mil brought in Neymar and Falcao
sold a lot of dead weight (skrtel reina carra carroll etc..) loaned out just about everyone under 20 and bought in 7 or 8 class youngsters using this http://www.fifafanatic.com/fifa-13-best-young-players/
Adryan has an overall potential of 87 or something, 2nd in epl in assists and 18 goals in all comps.. has a great shot on him and has shot up from 72 to 78 already.. and getting as many starts as Gerrard as i near the end of season 1
and another one to look out for is Gouano an 18 yo french CB soooo dominant in the air already
 
has anyone else started there career off as a player first? i started it and its fun but if i play for 5-10 seasons then by the time i start to manage none of the current players will really be there. decisions decisions

Not sure if I wanna check that site out as it might give things away, but Adryan seems like he will be a good choice then. I just looked up 18 year olds with decent ratings. I'd still like to get Neymar in but I reckon I'd have to sell Walcott and maybe someone else.

I got offered a heap of jobs and Belgium is the one I am considering. Keep stalling the offer. Might accept it soon, it's not crazy easy like going Spain or Italy, but they have a couple of world class players without being an over the top dominant team.
