Short answer - yes
 
I am playing a player career as well as the manager career... but putting more effort into the pure player career at the moment. I got lots of offers to move clubs early on, but chose to stay (my aim is to help build up Cheltenham Town from the bottom league and get them promoted :)). Towards the end of the season Juventus have come knocking on my door - a better pay rate than anyone else ($30,000)... i stalled the decision as i figured it was coming to the end of the season, wanted to stick around and win the league + available cups (made it to the final of the Capitol One cup, and doing pretty well in the FA cup). My logic being that i've spent all season building myself up, i am leading the goal scoring + assists in the league and associated cups. If i depart, it would be all for nothing.
 
Had to replay the 2nd half of the transfer window again as my game mustn't of saved before it froze last time. Brought in Micah Richards in a straight swap for Sagna + 3 mill and Hummels to start fazing out Koscielny. Sold Pato for 41 million and thought I had made a profit on him as I bought him for 32 million but forgot you only get a percantage of the transfer fee so I lost a million on him, he was unhappy with his playing time as I'm trying to juggle Podolski/Pato and Chamakh and nobody was interested in the other two.

Planning on bringing in Badstuber in the next transfer window and upgrading either of Ramsey/Gundogan to Hazard/Lucas/Gotze, as neither are really growing much and if I have money to play with I might aswell get the best possible squad.

yep...was about to post the same thing. The AI (regardless of what team) can always clear the ball blindly was a long bomb and it always lands at the feet of a solo forward who has 3-4 defenders surrounding him distancely despite one of the defenders suppose to be marking him!!!! Makes for alot of bullshit counter attacks which the AI pull out of their arse.

the same problem was in fifa 12 and hopefully they get rid of it next year.

Oh, and dont get me started on "Barca Mode"!!!!...that late game super human surge the AI can do (again regardless of what team) to intercept everthing, have a 200% speed, stamina, vison (actually 200% every f'in thing)!!!!!!!!

Yeah I would only go with australia if I had some young aussie players that I was building up at club level...then you might have some good players (eventually)

Or they bomb it to the head of an unmarked team mate who simply nods the ball back to a player charging through the middle. Makes it almost impossible to apply any pressure to their defence.
 
My second season in charge of Arsenal as ended and it was a bit of a turbulent one. Started off slowly and was in the middle of the pack at about the 10 game mark but came storming home to come 2nd in the league behind an undefeated Man Utd (96 pts) side so was well off the pace and only secured 2nd place in a come from behind win against Man City on the last day of the season could of finished anywhere between 2-6 if results went wrong for me on the last day.

Theirry Henry retired aswell and asked for a farewell game which I thought was fantastic so he scored 2 goals in his send off against Man City, was still servicable even at 36.

Offered Neymar a 5 year contract extension with a salary of 230,000 pounds (120k more then he is already on) so he would have 7 years left before his contract expired he refused and so the media went onto say he wanted to leave he comes to me a month or so later saying he wants to stay then at the end of the season he tells me he wants to leave. He can suck it up as I'm not selling him unless forced.

Also whats up with loaned players, Bendtner was originally loaned before season 1 even starts and I still haven't gotten him back so he is taking up roster space and his worth is decreasing.

In my Man City career I got offered Italy, but no England. Would love England, Germany or France.

In my new career I've just taken Heart to a resounding season/finals double and then taken a job with S.C. Olhanense in Portugal.

Applied for some French, Spanish and English Championship jobs but got knocked back each time. Only early days in Portugal though, so hopefully I'll get the chance to move into Spain with some better results.
 
Started playing online seasons. Division 10 is some of the easiest online FIFA I've ever played. First two games of the season were a draw and a loss but went nuts after that. The 4 games after that were 5-1 (Sahin Hattrick), 6-1 (Suarez 5 fa), 5-1, 5-1. Some of those games were weird however, I would have 25 shots and the other guy would still have 15. I'm expecting div 9 to be harder, but I'm not holding my breath.
 
This has to be the most broken console game I've ever played, had about 10 freezes in the last day and now it seems I can't get past a certain date in my career mode as it has frozen my console 4 times now on the 20th in the first transfer window of 2014.

Fix your bloody game EA.

what console you on? i keep reading people saying they get loads of freezes, invisible balls(and players), simmed games if they fall on deadline day, loan players staying 2 years or disappearing etc..etc..etc..
im on ps3 and have played prob 80-90 games on career mode and havent experienced any of these problems, glitches or had a single freeze...
i downloaded mine from psn store, so i dont have a disc as such but dont see how that would affect not having any problems...Its odd
 
I'm on ps3. FUT is literally unplayable for me as I can't even get into the intro game before my console freezes. And career mode (which is what I get fifa to play) freezed at the end of season 1 until I used a quick fix which was to ignore loan to buy decisions, 2nd season was fine except for some random freezes going through the menus and now at the start of the 3rd season I'm frozen just before the final of the World Cup. From the sounds of it (looking through fifa 13 forum) has something to do with signing players as I offered Hazard a contract and it seems to be freezing when he should be replying.

Arsenal. Difference between winning the A-League and the Premier League and FA Cup though.
 
Anyone who starts as a npower Championship team (or a team of similar talent/money) should definetly buy Viktor Fischer from Ajax. Scores a ridiculous amount of goals for me, even won the Golden Boot for me in my first season in the EPL. Plus at the age of 21, where I had got him up to an overall of 81 (he can get to at least 88), I was able to get Barca to agree to a $75,000,000 transfer fee for him. Money for jam.

Yeah he is on my hit list for my Bradford league 2 save...can't afford him yet

They change the tactics to Ultra Attacking so the players move up more. You can really easily negate it if you move and pass well, just look to lob the ball and bit and you'll also get a heap of chances to get around the defence with lobbed through balls.
 
Holy crap I think I saved over my game, the one I was actually playing. I got another version of it, but its after all my signings, after I sold Walcott for 38 and Kos for 19.
After also getting in Neymar, Fabregas and Hummels. I really hope I get those type of deals again or I am gonna be raging until I get it right.
 
Was able to get all 3 players without too much issue. Playing on World Class now, just won 2-0 against Man Utd in Comm shield. Hummels got sent off early for a professional foul but I was able to hang on. Neymar scored a fantastic goal. Thinking of buying Munian after he destroyed in my simmed Liverpool seasons.
