Without having to watch 18 minutes of video, what's the point?
Glitch has a positive effect for both sides. You do the glitch when you win = take win and points. Someone else does it to you, you just replay the game with no loss on your record like it never happened.

You do lose contracts though, which is pretty negative for people who aren't stacked with contracts from packs.

That's where the bronze pack method comes into play.

With the A-League, J-League, K-League and Saudi League in the game there is absolutely no reason why there couldn't be an unlicensed version of the ACL in career mode.

With no FFA Cup either (just play it from the round of 8 with all A-League teams, I don't care) it makes playing as Australian clubs very boring.

Timo Horn just up and left me. Played every minute of every game for two seasons and sends me a message saying "I can't be at the club anymore bye" basically. Then Bayern ******* Munich buys him.
That happened with me with Ozil last season. Said he wanted to leave and the club forced me to sell him (I rejected all bids), but they accepted one on my behalf the cant's.

Buy Oblak.

He went three days before the transfer window shut so I panick bought, kinda.

Bought both Warner Hahn from Leverkusen and Nordfelt from Swansea (my backups are a random 68 rated youth academy player and Sven Muller - 65 rated, sold Kessler earlier in the transfer window).

Ah yeah. My squad has great replacements in every area.

Cech
Bellerin Mustafi Kos Monreal
Xhaka
Deulofeu ---------- Sanchez
Ozil
Lacazette Lukaku

------

Butland
Cancelo Tah Romangoli Gaya
Coquelin
Lemar -------------- Ox
Asensio/Cazorla
Rashford Correa
Wilshere will return from loan in off season. I will bring in Castillejo from Villarreal (LW), and Joao Mario for more CM depth. Not sure what else I will do.

I've played a fair bit of career mode (3 seasons) and some annoying things never change in Fifa that fuel my rage!!! And it all comes down to the different in AI opposition players and the AI of my teams Non-controlled players. The AI against has a much improved defence and even offense they are getting much more creative. But, when I defend these things really piss me off:
1) Tackling anywhere within about 15m's of the sideline usually results in the ball going straight out of bounds. But if the AI tackles me they get clean possession time after time and no matter if they come from forward, sideways or behind.
2) Any loose ball just falls at the feet of the opposing AI
3) If I pressure well it doesn't matter the AI will blind long bomb it and it will fall to the feet of the 1 player upfield who is standing alone of coarse with 4 defenders well of him. I long bomb it and it is near always a turnover
5) Don't bother long kicking out of defence
6) AI heading is so overpower
7) PASSING... the override of passing really grinds me. It is 50/50 if it will do a short pass or throughball when I actually do either. I find throughball inputs are a better chance of happening then short pass so I usually do them.
8) AI defense works a treat against me, but the AI on my team are borderline useless. It is particularly painful when I might hold up the player with the ball who successfully body shields the ball (never works for me), but only for the AI controlled defender to stand nearby for ages and not come in and help. It creates a defensive mess at times as I then have to cycle through the change player button to find a player capable of making a tackle. Absolute mess this particular problem

Other then that it is a top game...never fails to fill my rage

This is the most I have been into a FIFA for several years.

It just feels so much more real, the physics, everything. For instance the pinball headers clearing a ball out of your own 18-yard box, where you rack up three or four headers in a row, it happens IRL but you never used to see it in FIFA. I've bought every FIFA since '12 and had been buying it every second year since 2003 but I also haven't played a FIFA as extensively since '12. So now I'm a week into my career mode my tactics are a bit shoddy. I used to always just run the ball down the byline and wait for the AI to tackle it over; they're smarter than that now. Same how they don't just shit themselves and clear it haphazardly whenever they're under pressure in their own half, like they used to. And I find that the standing tackle does **** all most of the time. So I'm in a bit of a rut.

Somehow I've lasted into a third season with the Victory despite finishing 7th and then 3rd; I'm playing on World Class and only winning one out of every three games or so, but I figure I won't improve unless I keep grinding it out on World Class. I used to play on Professional up until about FIFA 14 when I came to the conclusion that the AI was so dumb on Pro that I had to up the difficulty for my own good. I wonder if they're smarter now?

Perhaps something else that works against me is manual controls too. I feel like you get a lot more control out of it, being able to put the ball wherever you want, but there's been a heap of times where I've had a man on and my through ball was a bit heavy and I gave up a golden chance. I don't think I've scored more than 3 goals in any one match on World Class (6-min halves) so missed chances like that are crucial. In saying that I don't think I could go back to auto controls now. I like how when you **** up on manual, the only person you can blame is yourself. I still have semi-assisted crossing on because crossing on manual is stupidly hard (particularly with bronze-quality players) but my passing, through balls, lobs are all full manual. I at least want to stick with the Victory for a couple more seasons to see how good these youth players I've signed turn out to be; I have a few gems, one whose potential is 91-94 and another who is a goalkeeper that I trained up to grow 13 ratings in half a season.

Speaking of training, I pretty much always sim it but it's obviously valuable. Will non-playing youngsters still grow if you don't train them?

Those first 3 points...preach

Yeah, they've done a great job. It looks absolutely amazing too.

I play on pro, win most games, but some are still challenging. Probably gonna move up to WC after the first season ends.

Re: clearances, the CPU still do some dodgy ones on pro, and just makes you think wtf. The refereeing is still a bit inconsistent. I get booked for using standing tackle a lot and they're hardly bookable offences.

Youngsters still grow but not as rapidly. Training is great to up stats quickly if you DIY.

There's a different button for short pass and throughball you realise

my point was that often if I do either it overrides and does the other. Usually around the attacking box. Fifa brought in this feature a few years back and it drives me nuts. I will say that I play a lot in lower leagues so it is a feature they use to lesson crap players decision making feel etc...

1 more whinge point... The whole having to press buttons to cycle through the opening scenes is seriously getting on my nerves. Most games now just self open up to the main menu...not Fifa...grrr
