Same thing happened to me in div 7, was there for a few seasons. Then was belting sides all the way to div 5.

We came across some ESports team lost 5-0 and then went on a bit of a losing streak and just survived relegation.
 
Struggling a fair bit with passing in this. So often the AI flips to a player who isn't my intended target. I can understand me misplacing passes but when I do hit my target only for the ball to bounce off his feet because the AI had switched to another player instead it becomes very frustrating. Almost feels unplayable at times. Anyone know if I'm doing anything wrong or have any tips? I'm on manual passing (assisted passing feels even worse).

I managed Central Coast for 6 years, won 4 grand finals and won the minor premiership 3 times. Every year i'd look for new job offers, but nothing decent ever came appeared (except for A-League clubs). Finally after premiership number 4, some MLS clubs appeared in the list. Took the plunge and signed with FC Dallas. Lost my first 3 games all 2-1, and got sacked :( Harsh life
 
Figured I had built up enough cards in FUT it was time to make more headway in that mode (having moved up one division when I played the game in the first week). I need to develop a team with better chemistry, getting nowhere in the next division with a team that was in the 50's chemistry-wise (5 stars, rating average of 90.... yet play like bronze level skill wise due to weak chemistry!). Have done the squad builder with a few changes, now have a 90% English team line up with a chemistry rating of 90, shall see how that goes.

I'm not getting destroyed, I do enough to stay competitive in matches and either draw, or lose at the death. In my last match I lost 2 - 1, I got scored against early in the game making me go grrr. Because of how hard I've found getting the ball to my scoring end. I changed the formation and went to a defensive mindset (this works in every other Fifa I've played), broke through and leveled the score. However I was scored against yet again and lost.
 
Now that I am starting to understand the tactics of soccer I have turned off all passing/shooting assists. My god the game is infinite times better being able to place the ball exactly where I want it instead of where the game thinks I want it.

It looks ****ing amazing on the PS4 Pro too.
 
Was just doing a squad building challenge in fut and now almost all my players have disappeared.....wtf?

Played through the Women's International Cup (purely for achievements), is it just me or is there a token female girly scream among the crowd when goals are scored ? I've not heard the same scream when playing normal male matches.

I actually enjoyed the mode as it required to play the game differently since it's a bit more free flowing end to end. I made it through the group stage easily, the QF against Italy was tough had to come from behind to win (still did convincingly in the end). I was down 0 - 2 against Sweden early in the SF, came from behind to win 5-3 scoring all 5 goals in the second half. They scored a third goal right at the end. The final against France was toe to toe, I started the game well deflecting their first attack forward, took the ball forward easily myself before losing the plot and they countered with a goal. I leveled the score but before the end of the first half they managed to score another (which required a goal review as my defender kicked it off the goal line as it was declared a goal). It was a tighter affair in the second half, I got awarded a free kick just outside of the penalty box area and their player got a red card for their effort. It was a fluke press of the button (not much power) but it sailed over the wall of defenders and out of reach of the goal keeper GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. I was then able to seal the win with some clever passing, then took advantage of them being one person down.... crossed the ball to the center and had another player head the ball into the back of the net sealing the win. And giving me the achievement for winning the tournament.

Also find it funny how limited the women's matches are with commentary, getting the same token speech about how they are catching up to the men's game.

Yeah i got 2 players. Hardly worth 11 gold players Lahm, Chicarito, Alonso, Fuhrman, Draxler, Bellerabi, Howedes, Schurle, Kagawa, Hector & Martinez.

Just started a managers career mode with Melbourne City.
For some reason i got smashed in that preseason asian cup.
Lost 3-0 to Wellington away, Won 1-0 to WSW at home thanks to a penalty and won 0-2 to Adelaide away with two late goals.

I've signed a player from China who was free agent to sure up the backline as we have had injuries.
Anyway i was wondering how do you actually sign players for loan or transfer?
I click enquire about the player they send me a price but then theres no option to bid on the player... ??

A-League sucks, starts right after the transfer period shuts. You'll need to wait until January transfer window to buy/loan players. You can only snap up free agents for now
