Happy with the Browne inclusion. He needs to play more AFL footy. Would have liked Armfield back in the team, but maybe he needs a run with the Ants. I also wonder when the club are going to give Kreuzer a rest.

Adam Bentick hasnt been droped. Kreuzer and Walker are both out for Browne and Armfield. Walks must of pulled up sore and Kreuzer is getting rested and having a week or 2 in the Bullants. No way that we will win lol

How can we drop Kreuzer? Is Browne going to ruck? Walker trained fully yesterday and should play.

I think its pretty simple the reason AB was dropped, he is slow and Telstra is a fast track, I really believe if it was at the MCG he would be in. Would like to know how his form is like at the Telstra Dome compared to MCG. He really looked slow last week and was exposed a bit. I think you will find that Carrots who got 44 possesions last year against them will go into the middle and Browne down back.

The dilemna Carlton faces with JR is that he shows brilliant glimpses, he obviously has heaps of pace and seems to read it pretty well. Look at the improvement from him this year, his tackling especially from behind is nearly the best in the team this year along with Gibbs and Waite and his courage on a couple of occasions this year has been great, eg. Shepherd last week after quick hands to Murph (I think), these have all come this year, so he has improved, all this guy needs to do is put it all together. On the other hand he can be frustrating with silly mistakes and bad kicking for goal (fixable as he has a good action). Yes he has been given more than enough opportunity but I believe he is worth the risk and persistence in playing him.

AB on the other hand has reached his full potential and unfortunately probably lacks pace (stuck with this leg speed) to really take it to another level i.e. he hasn't got the big upside of what JR could possibly achieve.

In other words AB has reached his full potential but JR is just finding it and that would be another reason for persisting with JR and dropping AB, though in saying that I dont think they play the same role.

I think another way of looking at it, if at the end of the year, both were up for trade who do you think would have more currency? I believe JR by miles.

I have always got Carrots, Fish (if i must) and umpteen others to defend lol (AB is only 5% of my posts )

Just finished watching it again and I think it is a mistake to drop him - instead of taking cheap shots watch the last half of the last Q when he got on and we came back - he was on fire

As you know there were 7 or 8 players who would have nudged him out of the WOG award.

Have got to figure Carrots will be the new onballer as he got a fair bit of time v Syd (he will have to be very careful with his tackling and hball in there - see the replay)

Pity no Bullants for AB - who knows he may be a late inclusion
