I am about to tie up my drinking shoes brothers and calm my nerves, so I won't be BigFooty bound till post GF.

I wish you all the best tomorrow for your days supporting our brothers in the red, white and black. It'll be full of emotion but we wouldn't have it any other way.

As I have said all year, this is our time brothers. Our time to make a new chapter in St.Kilda history. Our time to be the envy of opposition supporters. Our time to be the best side. Our time to win the Premiership Cup.

There is a light that never goes out brothers. We are all testament to that.

Have a great day brothers and LET'S GO YOU MIGHTY SAINTERS.

This has a sniff of Hawthorn '08 about it. The challenger upending the champ.

Go well, Sainters. Fear no-one or nothing.

Many of us neutral fans will be riding every bump with you.

How did a side that's 20-2 with a combined losing margin of 7 points end up being the challenger?

Not to mention we beat these flogs in round 14 ... but who really cares whether we are the underdogs as I would think this snub might release any pressure on our guys and infact lift them to greater heights :thumbsu:

FFS, can't I even wish you good luck?

Oh, 3 Grand Finals in as many years is a bit of a clue too.

I think he took that but like we all are is surprised that near all the media etc has pretty much written us off even tho we have had a near perfect season:confused:

I'm fine with being the underdogs. I'd much rather have the recognition tomorrow night than pregame. The pressure is on Geelong; lose tomorrow and they would have got just the 1 flag out of a possible 3 in an era widely acknowledged as one of their best. Gary Ablett, a Cat, won the Brownlow. It will be a wet weather game, something which is expected to benifet the Cats. They are the team coming off a great preliminary final performance, we are the team coming off a 7 point win; 1997 all over again comrades, but this time the shoe is on the other foot.

All the while the Saints go about their business; the pressure to succeed is firmly rooted on the Geelong squad, one of the best teams of all time with only the one flag to show for it.

This week has all been Geelong, Geelong, Geelong, St. Kilda, Geelong, Geelong. And I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

for what its worth, and it may ring slightly hollow, enjoy tomorrow, saints fans. may it be a worthy spectacle for us all.

I'm off to bed so I can start bright and early and take it all in. What a day. Sometimes I honestly thought I'd never see the Saints in another grand final... and here we are. It's only dawning on me now that we might actually be premiers. Can you imagine it? **** that would be good.

I can't wait. Hope you guys all have great grand final days win or lose. GO SAINTS :thumbsu:
