Two five goal forwards, and plenty of others who looked like they could help out. A BLISTERING game.

Abblets coming out of your ******* and well, then some. You look great.

Showed me where the door was, and I'm in no position to back away from it.

Well done fellas.....

I Think you guys are better than you think.

Aboriginal bloke in the forward line, gun. First Game ? Travis or something...bewdy.

Thanks champ...

it was a good game to watch, and to be honest i was a little weary going into this game. I had no idea our forward had the potential to kick 24 goals.

I dont mind the look of carltons new young list, hopefully the team can put the last few years behind them and start to string a few games together...

Level headed posters on the cats boards.

I trolled like a demon and you guys were great. Then I got beat.

Your team, no malaki, can go all the way.

Serious talent, and WHAT happend last week. ?

I am goin to keep a serious eye on you to make sure you don't up and down.

Are you the same guy who started that handbag thread on Bay 13 and told all and sundry Carlton were basically going to tear us a new a*** on the weekend?

If so, you've sure changed your tune pretty quick, huh?

Problem with geelong is that our 'running game' gets strangled whenever we play the better teams.
We're pretty good at "The Game Of Stoppages" which is how we beat Sydney at their own game last year.
Maybe we should play like that more often, sure it's frustrating on the fans, but we did win.

Thats a big change from this:

There have been some pretty dark times down at princes park over recent years, and plenty of people doing there best to make things worse by going on the attack. There were others though that tried to keep focus, and if changes needed to be made let them happen in a civilized and logical way rather than just turning on ourselves with a crazed pack mentality.

The blues are on the rebound and were always going to climb back up the ladder purely because of the draft system if nothing else (see saints), so our return to form and becoming a competitive team again was an absolute, the question was was it going to be this year or next.

Constantly referring to teams as though they are last years easy beats or the years before makes no sense and there is no sense in beating yourself up about it. Its as like referring to Brisbane finishing 4th last two season ago and forgetting they one a flag the previous season. Teams change very quickly.

The point being you can not start calling for blood if you lose to Carlton as they are a completely different team to what they were last year. Most of us know we are not really finals contenders, however we do feel, along with senior coaching and management, that we will have a team capable of going all the way as early as next season. There is nothing to be gained by calling for blood because you lost to Carlton. You should instead think about placing a condition on Bomber, if he loses more than he wins this year, GONE.

But again there is no point in judging the performance of your own side against the standard of Carlton last year, because Carlton this year are a by far and away a better side than Geelong ever hope to be and will get completely pumped. Your setting yourselves up for failure, keep the faith catters, theres no point in getting dispondant about something you have no control over, and you have no control over this weekends impending shellacking.

Best of luck and chin up, don't let it get you down, its only the blues and for you older ones you should be bloody used to it by now.

Cats. ffffft !

:eek::confused::eek:
