For those swapping tickets (standing room for seats), is it advisable to swap seats once inside the ground?
I wouldn't want swap then can't get in cos of some security guard

No it doesn't matter unless you're swapping an Adult for a Concession and don't want the risk of being asked for proof of concession.

She doesn't want to go by herself and would love to stand with her brothers.

We're not going because memories of '89 will always be ours.
I would love for the kids to get some reward for all the poos and wees jibes that they suffered through their school years. We all missed out in 2008.

I have 2 SEPARATE seats and am looking to swap for standing room only in the Ponsford stand. That's M29 to M36 standing room.

The tickets are. Silver in m35 row p and a bronze in m33 not sure of the row. They are NOT together.

One is a concession but that's ok as I will make the exchange in the ground on the day.

The silver is $84 (well say $80) more than a standing room and the bronze is $30 more so I will need to charge the difference.( for beer)

pM if you are interested in either seat, you must have a m29-m 36 standing room ticket to exchange.

Will give preference to the elderly or woman if there are more than 1 interested.

Trying to PM you but having trouble. Would love to swap my M30 standing for your M35 row p for my elderly dad who can't stand (he has a really bad knee) and won't be able to go unless I can swap for a seat. I have a concession ticket so could sort out swap ahead of time. Let me know!

Actually i would be interested to hear what level of membership people have and what seats they recieved.

As a fully paid Gold member i was guaranteed a seat and nominated for any seat as long as i get to go.

Truthfully though when checked the amount that came out of the bank balance last night and realised got silver seating i was a bit miffed as hoping for minimum gold seating.

However, when checked tickets this morning was relieved to see M35 row P which is right next to Gold seating bottom deck Ponsford stand anyway. Thought it would be a bit of a bummer to get top deck at the back with Gold membership.

i am gold and got Qdeck silver seats am lucky not right at back but still i am there and going by some where i am sitting will be fine though i am spoilt on getting level one or 2 seats during the year this will be a new experience for me

Well Holy Crap Batman I just checked and my number came up in the successful ballot!!!!!!!!!! I have never been to a GF let alone one the Hawks were playing. I will be sick in the guts until I get the ticket in my hands tomorrow.

My names Adam, I’m 21, a full time student, and have followed the Hawks since I was born. I love the Hawks with all my heart been a member for over 10 years of my life, and even though I couldn’t really afford a proper membership this year, I bought a general admission membership to support the club. I entered into the ballot, and was unfortunate and didn’t get a ticket. My best friend, who has grown up with me is in the exact same position as I am. We both don’t know what our best option is anymore to get a ticket. We are willing to spend the little money we have on tickets, but they are like $500-600 on gumtree and ebay, and we just can’t afford it. We were hoping that one of our fellow Hawks or just anyone could please help us out in some way or another. Wasn’t sure were the best place to ask this was. Long time viewer first time poster. Ive been a Hawk member for life (was signed up the day i was born) Unfortunately I was unable to renew my membership this year, Ive had a reserved seat in the Kennedy club for the last 7 years but joined the Army at the end of last year and being in Sydney for the majority of this year i just couldn't afford to renew a membership that wouldn't get used. I blew a massive portion of my savings in 2008 for center square tickets for myself my Dad and my Brother ( i can even post proof i was there including the three of us being present in the official highlight reel on youtube to prove I'm a dedicated supporter) but just cant afford that on Defence wages. I'm desperate for a ticket, I don't care were it is. I know this is a massive long shot but i would just love to be there.

My husband has a single seat in the southern top deck on the afl members wing. Won't be certain of exact allocation till it is picked up on Wednesday but in the nose bleeds. Looking for a swap with a single seat in the nosebleeds in the ponsfords so that we can be in the same stand at least.
Be happy to make swap at ground on the day. His ticket is full admission.corporate so no worries with any membership issues.

Also looking for anyone who purchased corporate with a etihad grand final breakfast ticket who is looking to offset some cost of their seat by selling their breakfast ticket. We have one already but it old suck for only one of usto go. Alternatively if there is anyone out there desperate to buy one etihad grand final breakfast seat let me know.
