Finals Tickets

All, a tad premature, but we may be off to Adelaide oval week 1 of the finals... Does anyone know what our members allocation could look like for this or if afl members with cats club support can get tickets to the venue?

I don't know off the top of my head what the member allocation is but I would be confident saying if you are a Geelong member you won't have any trouble getting a ticket.

Doubt you'd get a seat if the game is at AO. Certainly couldn't earlier in the year.

Well looks like a Thursday night final could be on the cards for us if we play the crows in Adelaide... Makes it too hard for country or interstate members to attend. Seriously the afl can get stuffed. Gil claimed to bring the game back to the fans, but it's all just bout TV$.

Thought the exact same thing when I read that this morning. Who could get there from Geelong/Melb on a Thursday night? Apparently it doesn;t matter because Crows fan will turn up in droves.

There are dedicated members allocations for finals.

And they all have to go on sale that week, rather than in the previous October when memberships are sold.

Equal numbers of tickets are available for both teams' members, due to it being an "AFL" home game (the AFL controls all finals ticketing, not the clubs). Therefore cats members will be able to grab a seat if they want for about a day, when all remaining seats are thrown out to the general public on the tuesday

Not sure that was how it played out for our simmonds final against freo though? Will be a moot point if it's a Thursday night game anyway

Geelong and Freo supporters were each given the same number of tickets to purchase on the monday. On the tuesday, geelong member allocation had sold out, but the freo one hadn't, so those were sold to the general public, who were majority geelong. Works the same at every ground for finals

That's right, here's a few Richmond bays at Adelaide Oval in 2014...still laugh at that match.

Thursday night game in Adelaide I couldn't care less about- not going interstate anyway.

Is there a chance of a Melb Thursday night final??? Won't like it but if we have to, I'll go.
