Well rumours are someone has guaranteed to draft Josh Thomas, and that the club that made that guarantee was Collingwood.

We may not even have to take him with pick 30, but I'd say he would be at the top of the Collingwood rating's for likely picks at 30.

What I heard he has already been down Training with us. He would be Top or Near the Top for Pick 30. I doubt we would Guarente we would pick him but I dare say we said we would be High on our List

and as good as blair was this year in the VFL, i have my doubts for him too. Has a massive internet forum over rating going on and may struggle to fulfill the vision many have for him, me i want a serviceable nuggety mid, not expecting a star

He's tall compared to Blair. Yeah I agree Blair might struggle in the afl from his height but he has a massive heart and I saw him in one of the finals have about 4 or 5 efforts in one passage of play so he's a goer and will never give up. Not bad qualities IMO

davis isnt inside ever at anything in the middle

Mitchell was drafted as a rookie at 20 and he already weighed more then 70KG, Ablett was HFF/midfielder who is also an inch and bit taller

Was just reading a thread about Matthew Panos slipping possibly to second round but I highly doubt it IMO. I was hoping the pies would get him when we had pick 14 so if he gets to 30 I would be extremely happy but it's extremely unlikely unfortunately just hope now we can get some decent kid with 30 probably not a star but hopefully a solid contributor week in week out

He may well slide, but I guarantee he wont be at Collingwood FC.

I bet Geelong are disappointed they drafted that midget Chapman (178cm) all those years ago. Hopeless isn't he. Hank Crawford 177cm?

For someone sub 180cm to make it as an inside midfielder, they'd have to have insane natural core strength going on. Chapman isn't a pure midfielder, but someone with his natural strength wouldn't be limited by his height.

I'd like to see Chapman's build when drafted actually. Anyone who finds me a photo gets a 'smiddaz point'.

at 178cm as an inside mid, he would want to be a bloody powerhouse of a kid

I would say pound for pound, Paul Chapman is the strongest man in the AFL. He is ridiculously powerful through the lower body for a man of his size. Probably the most difficult man in the AFL to tackle.

Troy Taylor.. The most exciting player in the draft! Taylor has everything you could ask for in a small/medium forward, and has the tricks to rival Motlop. Eventually he could be a burst player in the midfield, and he has even played in the ruck before so he obviously has a decent leap on him given he stands at 189cm. We'll need him to slide a few picks.
