Hi All,

Really hoping Jack plays well tonight as CHB, I think that his position at the moment and would like to seem him based there for a few years. Would like to see him and Frawley (great player) the responsibility of the backline, this would benifit Jack more, and I reckon Frawley could bring him along abit as a duo.

Last year when Carlton played the Ds, he played really well back there and even dominated 1/4 in a losing side with a heap of ball coming in fast.

I think he needs to put on a few Kgs still, still looks like he needs more bulk at 91kg.

Would have changed how he was bought along myself, have loved to see him over the last few years develop abit more physically, spend majority of time down back and then be moved forward at around 23 years old. Some times those Key Position guys benifit from learning the other end and just developing there bodies eg Lachie Henderson, I love him down back for us at the moment.

Overall I still rate him and wish he comes along in the next few years.

Good luck tonight guys !

Okay forget tonight Higgs. Are you happy with the way Jack Watts attacks the football and the intensity he plays with week in week out? It hurts watching McKenzie, Bartram, Jones, Magner giving 110%, getting their bodies smashed from pillar to post and Jack just doesn't seem interested.

I'm a little angry tonight Surkin. I'm prob a bit reactionary myself. But I'be been a supporter of Watts and I've seen some signs this year, re intensity, that have impressed me. So to see him slagged off after what was (unarguably) a shit game craps me off. But who knows you might be right. I'm not throwing out the baby with the bath water yet

Fair enough mate. Agree with having shown small signs of improvement in intensity but he needs to show this for 120 minutes week in, week. I hope he can prove me wrong as he has all the talent in the world.

I really hope he proves me wrong but it's been 4 years already! I'm jealous of WCE and Bombers supporters reaping the rewards of Nic Nat Patty Wack and Hurley while we are sitting here just praying that one day Watts will announce himself on the game.

Ah was waiting for the inevitable nicnat comment

Just imagine the big mophead, taking marks of the year and dominating hit-outs to advantage week in and week out in the red and blue guernsey

Besides if we went with Nic Nat, then we probably would've drafted Sam Reid over Max Gawn in the 2009 draft. So that would've been a win-win situation.

Not big on Watts either, but NN and Hurley are living off good starts. They have both stalled in their development. Hartlett, Ziebell etc. are the ones improving

Tip of the cap to the young lad Tom McDonald who did the job on Riewoldt tonight.

You could argue Watts was as effective as Riewoldt tonight. Everyone has bad games. The kid is 20. Judgement saved for when he hits 24.

Piffle, if nat was in this team he'd make absolutely fukc all diff to this team. Think of the padding he'd has in the wce team, or the padding ess has. Quite happy where watts is.

From the outside looking in it seems like he has the talent but doesn't care about the club.

Maybe you should trade him?

What would you get do you think?

How about for croad and mcpharlin for your 1st pick.... Oh wait.

Ugh. Close this troll bait thread.
