How do people on here think Adelaide will turn.
Give only the games where you are at least 60-70% sure the Crows will win.

It is an "interesting" draw, there really is a lot of room for movement either way.

I'll have a go first.

If I was a Crow supporter this is how I would feel

4 wins_______Average
6 wins_______Good
More than 6___Great
8 or more_____Outstanding

Spot on.

I think first 11 games are going to be ball breakers as only 7 of those are at home. In those 11 games we play some bloody good opposition. I would like us to have a winning percentage come 2nd half of the season. If we can be 6-5 at the mid-season break I would think we are going along OK. Anything less than 6 wins will put our season into real danger. As good a run home as we have it would be a bloody big ask. A lot of those games are for 2 or 3 weeks on the road straight which could have our players drained a bit.

Not a very good draw BUT we have to live with it. I think Hawks have one hell of a good draw.

Working on at least a 60% confidence level to take a game as a win, I've gone

That's 6-5 our way at the half way mark, and it might end up better with Hawthorn a possibility as well.

I'll settle for 6-5 or better.

Sadly, I have us 10th.Hope I'm wrong, however if my tipping on the bigfooty English Premier League soccer tipping comp is anything to go by......

I ended up with 12 for the year, and that is with 1 showdown each.
I know it's stating the obvious, but your first half of the year is the key.

I'm a little more optamistic than most i guess & providing the game plan on show in the practice games will be banished to the never never then i predict us turning at the worse 7-4.

Yeah, staying in touch with the top-8 in the 1st half is the key. Reckon we can can still make the finals turning 4-7 after 11 games, but anything less, we will be in strife. If we can be around a solid 50/50 win/loss ratio, confident we can come home well & push for the top-4.

Gee, if we can't count on a guaranteed win against Richmond then we are in trouble.
;)

When was the last time we lost to Richmond?

In the Wizzer Cup a few years back I think.

We will smash the Tigers in the midfield & scoreboard IMO - doesn't matter where the game is played.

OK, here's my assessment:

Kangaroos (W) - Archer's afraid of Carey... we all saw him shirk away when Carey raised his fist last year... c'mon I know you saw it too. :)

Brisbane (W) - Voss is gone. His knee will not allow him to play at his normal level as Greg Williams said. Keep in mind that we were winning that final last year until he came on (and despite Ayre's sabotage). Without him they are a much weaker side, IMHO, at least against us.

Freo (L) - Good team, hard to beat at home.

St Kilda (L) - A very good team this year. Mark my words they will be in the top 4 this year. Any doubters just take a look at their last 7 games of last year when they were crushing opponents. Plus they have Riewoldt who is, IMHO, one of the top 3 players in the league (as will be shown this year).

Richmond (W) - chokers and losers, what else needs to be said.

Geelong (W) - although I like 'em they are just kids without enough firepower.

Port (L) - though I really think we can win this one, I feel like I've got 7 wins in my picks and choosing this as a win would be pushing things.

Essendon (W) - overrated hacks

Collingwood (L) - we SHOULD beat them, but I'm confident Ayres will find a way to lose this one like he did with last year's first meeting

Hawthorn (W) - overrated hacks

Carlton (W) - hacks

Kangaroos (W) - This one could go any way but I think we SHOULD win this one

Brisbane (W) - I might surprise a few people with this pick but keep in mind that Brown (suspended), Voss (knee), Leppa (shoulder) and a few others possibly won't play. If we are ever going to beat Brisbane this is the time especially since its our home game.

Fremantle (L) - Could go either way but I think we will drop this one.

St Kilda (L) - I think we will find this team tough. they have too many good talls to cover. I seriosly can't see a weakness in this side. We might come home with the bacon. Keeping in mind that this game comes after the trip to Subi, I think we will drop this one.

Richmond (W) - SHOULD win this one. If we don't we should hang our head in shame as we would be beaten by Ben Marsh's team :(

Geelong (W) - This one is another one that could go either way. I think the cats are underrated. When they get their mind to it they can beat anybody as illustrated by their win against Port last year. I really hope we win this one.

Port (L) - As much as I would love a win here I think I will go with norm of late and think that Port will beat us.

Essendon (W) - 50-50. Again hope for a win really.

Collingwood (L) - we are their bitches. Unlikely to change. Again it will be won and lost in the coaches box. I pick Malthouse every time.

Hawthorn (W) - SHOULD win but we were supposed to win last year as well.

Carlton (W) - If we don't win this one we might as well throw in the towel

I think 7-4 would be a good result. However, I wouldn't be surprised if we dropped a couple of winable games.

If we turn the half way mark 7-4, we should make the top-2, give our run home! I think this is wishful thinking & we will be around 5-6 or 6-5 (though stranger things have happened).
