I've been watching YouTube videos of pumpkin patches and people carving pumpkins for Halloween and I'm getting a bit homesick. This was always my favourite time of the year back home. Normally this week I'd put out skeletons, scarecrows, witches, bats and spider webbing in our front lawn. I had a lifesize zombie I'd hang from a tree and have a spotlight on it at night. I'd always buy candy that I liked for Halloween so if there was any left, it was all mine. Stuff sour crap and non-chocolate. Reece's and Kit Kats and Milky Ways all the way!
