Just watched Delta on my TV, first time. Other times have been on my phone. I thought she was terrific. She came in 2nd in the Jury votes; 9th in the Televote. Not being from Europe did her in. Some Europeans would never vote for a non-European contestant. They sure were pissed that an American became Pope!

Saw my kidney doctor today in Richmond. No change, except that I need to keep up hydration like last visit. Had a different AgedCare driver. I had to be rather terse with him when he didn't want to follow my directions as to where to be dropped off. I've done the trip at least a dozen times so know exactly where to go.

No traffic so only took 45 minutes into the city. Same coming back. These trips always tire me out. I must be getting old.

I bought Zsa Zsa a few things from Amazon Haul, some small blankets, a wand toy with a feather at the end, two feeding bowls that are elevated and a laser pen. The laser pen arrived today. Zsa Zsa has never shown interest in any toys that I've bought her, but she loves the laser. I've never seen her look so confused as when she was chasing the red dot. Knowing her, the interest will probably wane in a day or two.

Zsa Zsa is doing fine. She was ten last October. She's changed her eating habits. She used to only eat dry food and the Dine soft treats. She never ate pouch or canned food. Now she loves Purina One pouch food and eats all kinds of the soft treats. She also never ate Temptations or any type of dry treats. Now she loves Temptations. I think the catnip flavour won her over. I'm still not able to pick her up, but she sleeps on my bed in a corner near my head at night. During the day she either sleeps on the bed or on her wardrobe shelf in the closet. In the evenings she sometimes comes into the living room and sleeps in the chair next to my recliner. She loves to be brushed with the rubber brush that fits in my palm.

No. Never has in almost nine years. I tried to pick her up the other day when she was on the arm of my recliner, but when I put my hand under her, she jumped down.

"Umm we don't have that"

Yes. I was not a yeller, but then again, I might have been if teaching Year 2. I used a variety of techniques to have discipline in my classroom. Most would be out of date in today's educational climate. For me the face to face classroom teaching was the easiest part. Lesson prep the first year at a school was tiring. After that having built up resources, the work was easier. As an English/Humanities teacher, marking was by far the most taxing. What burnt me out was teaching three VCE English classes, two Year 11 and one Year 12. I also had a Humanities Year 8 and English Year 10 my final year. After 25 years I had run my race.
