Yep, this is close to the one I reckon.

Only thing is, that bench doesn't inspire great confidence... would prefer a name on there like Curnow or Lucas (at their best). Maybe instead of Thornton, given we'd be loaded up on talls compared to our recent team sheets.

Hoping we see Kreuzer spend most of his time in the ruck, with the Hammer up front as a priority. Nasty forward line for opposition coaches to match up on! When Hammer is in the ruck, Kreuz rests forward or lines up as ruck rover.

Has the potential for Yarran, Walker and Russell to switch into the centre rotations too, which may just provide enough run given we'd be without Armfield and one of AJ/Ellard.

Need Robbo at his kamikaze best for the finals, under those packs extracting like a madman. Ellard too, bringing the tackles.

Carrazzo. FFS, keep the creativity to a minimum and play the percentages. Please.

His pack marking last week was incredible - stuff I haven't seen from the big fella before. Timed push-outs and perfect leaps, as well as some brilliant crumbing work from packs that he broke.

An effort half as convincing as that would get him a game. He looked like that big-bodied forward we need, rather than a pack-cracking wrecking ball that can somewhat handle a footy.

O'hAilpin and Russ must play vs Saints if either are going to feature in September.

Thornton has had a better year than I expected, but under the heat last week failed at both ends of the ground.

Hampson offers FAR more around the ground than does Warnock. The one area Warnock is superior to Hampson is in the centre ruck work and even then you have people here who suggest that Hampson is superior in knocking the ball to advantage than is Warnock.

Hampson/Kreuzer playing together produced the best football that we've played all year. Yes, the injuries to Waite-Jamison were the major factors that derailed our season slightly but don't underestimate Hammer's impact when he was out on the park pre-injury.

Like your lineup but would love to see Bower get a game most likely ahead of Tuohy.Think his height run and flair would be great for finals if he can get and stay fit.

Out of all the choices I have looked at on BF, this is the one which is closer to my thoughts.
It's a bit late to be considering Curnow and probably Russell as they weren't in form when last in and are not necessarily burning in the two's.
You have to give O'hAlipin a chance as he has been back in the two's for a few weeks now and is getting back to his early season form.
To me Waite is a real risk. But even if he came in he should play on the wing and not in a KP.
The only other possibility would be Hampson. If he was in real form he could be a bloody headache to any team. But he's only had one or two games back and generally big guys need time.

Hampson has only offerered more around the ground TWICE ever. Before that, he was worse around the ground than warnock.


Since warnock is probably one of the best tap ruckmen in the league, this is unbelievably more valuable than the 10 possessions, And 3 marks per game hampson offers.

Give it up.

Scotland put one out on the full and then another very close to it. But I don't remember groaning once at an Armfield disposal.

Lucas is a footballer.

Armfield is an athlete.

Yet Prendergast had more footy smarts than Armfield.

And that's not saying a lot.
