Be very careful there IP - that's how it always starts - innocent curiosity, and then you're gone forever.

Mission Man would never forgive you.

My unintended double entrendre worked a treat...:)

And don't you concern yourself Ex - I would never, could never "cross over". I am Freo for life and wouldn't have it any other way.

oh - thanks but no thanks. You keep it.

We'll look for the person wearing purple, screaming Go Benny. :p

I don't automatically think of existential crises as a spectator sport but that could be entertaining.

In all honesty, the chance of me going are nought and zero, but I am hanging out for the footy to start, like everyone. This off-season is more painful than usual for some reason. Maybe cos it's the first off-season that I've been hanging out on BF.

Better idea than going to watch your lot... stop hanging out on BF.

But as I am addicted to this place, that's not likely to happen. :(

Yes. My productivity has gone way south since I started looking at this site.

Might have to review my involvement here I think.

OK, here's the deal. If you go, I'll go.

But then I'll have to come back here to check that you've held up your end of the bargain, and then technically I won't be gone, so then I'll probably say "just one quick post" and then it'll all start over again....

ooohhh the agony of it all.....

I HAVE been talking about football... have a look who started the thread you moron...... I made the post because I wanted to know about the scratchmatch and it has turned into a mudslinging match with Dockers Supporters... so I kindly asked the Dockers supporters what the hell they are doing in here in the first place. Thats fine if they have something nice to say... but obviously they aren't..... and it wasn't me provoking them... and if I was tell me where the hell I was please?

I realise you started the thread and have had a good time reading about it cos i live in melbourne and dont get the coverage to news as what you would..
I didnt specifically say that YOU provoked the freo supporters this time, but there has been times that you have and caused unnecessary trouble..

Ask any opposition player... and they would see what the Freo supporters did as a sign of weakness..... that mediocrity is tolerated....

Well, WCE have lost 9 of their last 11 finals. I wonder what an opposition player would say if you asked them about having to play WCE in a final. Don't talk to me about mediocrity. You put the ochre back into mediocre.

Just imagine the next final Freo play.... the opposition coach will be bringing up how the crowd are there and don't care so much about a Freo win because they will still clap and cheer them if they get belted and subconciously the Freo players will know that too..... they go in with no expections because they know the supporters have no expectations... and won't be switched on to win.

I'm pretty certain that's how it works. Don't worry about match-ups. Don't worry about systematic rotations or sticking to any sort of game plan. Just a bit of commentary on the crowd and she'll be sweet. Of course, when playing WCE, opposition coaches warn their players not to get alarmed at the three-quarter glum-arsed walk-out as has occurred at your last nine or so finals. It's all about the crowd, Dudd. The crowd and what they're wearing. If their shoes match their handbags and what they talk about after the game...

And our last 11 finals were in Adelaide or Melbourne. Not a single one of those were in Perth.

Fremantle on the other hand are 0 from 1 in Perth. I'll give you a tip... we play 11 of those finals in Perth we wouldn't be 2-9.... and we sure as hell wouldn't be cheering the players off after a 11 goal thumping against Essendon at home in a final either.

Now... p1ss off back to your little purple, red, green and white board.... and compare anchors with all the other blue collar below average wage supporters.

Fremantle lost by 7.2. West Coast lost by 8.8.

Isn't that dipping into "we were crapper in 2001" territory ?

Both games both sets of supporters have nothing to crow about.

Surely we are above that ?....

And for about the hundreth time to Dudd, no one was cheering because their team lost. You are a stupid, stupid man.

Fair enough last year (first finals appearance/passably acceptable season and all), but if exactly the same happened this year and you lot cheer your team off I'd be asking some serious questions.

Who knows how the crowd will react this season if it ends similarly to last season? All I know is, I went to the EF to hopefully see us win, I didn't have a plan in mind that said, hell, if we lose I'm cheering the boys off. As it turned out, we lost and the chant thing kind of just happened. It became infectious, it was wierd and it was wonderful and I'm glad I was a part of it. If thick-heads like dunny_green don't understand that, they have no right to make comments. Especially since he does his cheering and chanting to a television set in his comfy little bedroom.

If/when my kid runs last in her first race at the school carnival, will I cheer her off?

Damn right I will.

It's not my fault you weren't good enough to get a home final.

And, even if you were good enough to get a home final, what makes you think you were good enough to win them? I mean, Hawthorn pantsed you over here in a final when you were a team that mattered.

I'm sure if you ask politely enough, Carneagles will direct you to some market research which reveals that those of the Fremantle Faithful are far more likely to have a better education than the hungry Jacks-eating Johnny Punchclocks who make up your fanbase. When we compare anchors, it's not just a simple case of showing off our prison tattoos...

everyone knows that 99.5 % of stats are made up on the spot

I believe that an intraclub scratch match is personal to the Eagles and personal to their supporters. I can see no reason for supporters of other clubs to be posting to this thread at all.

Is it really that boring in the Freo forum???

Well there appears to be an amnesty for Fremantle posters who derail threads on this board so what else can you do? The only way to get through to them is to give them some of their own medicine, although Sabre appears a bit more strict than Go Eagles.

Sabre is the quintessential freo supporter - can throw alot of excrement, but refuses to cop any.

This does not apply to IP or Kenny who I think are secretly eagles supporters

on second thoughts, your right.
I don't like them bagging our club, they'd feel the same way.
Plus I can't be bothered visiting and its my bday! :D

Happy Birthday Juddamania. Hope you had a lovely day.

You obviously have very good taste in football teams - and players - if Juddy is one of your favourites.
