WRONG, we have first pick in the PSD, the money offered is the same by both clubs, so we will take him in the PSD and stuff the Hawks all together, so Carlton hold the upper hand.

unless Thornton nominates a 2 year $800,000 deal as his terms with the intention of lasting till Hawthorn's pick and once selected by them signing a 3 year deal at, year 1, $400,000, year 2, $400,000, year 3, $100,000 = the $900,000 3 year deal they have offered him. Of course if he is reselected by the Blues or picked up by Essendon/North he signs the 2 year deal.
