I would have said 1 - 2 weeks (biased) or 2 - 3 weeks (unbiased).

Yes, it's the biggest penalty for quite a while (since Dale Kickett?), but Hall has a poor tribunal record and it's not as if this was a reckless high tackle or even a punch in the heat of the moment, it was a sustained mauling of Primus's face. So in those circumstances maybe it's not such a surprise.

Honestly I thought a Rioli-type sentence would be fair. 2-3.

Apparently Hall pleaded guilty and Brian Collis said Hall's record for "unlawful conduct" worked against him.

He didn't have a great record, but 5 matches? Harsh.

My opinion is Buckley should get 10 weeks.

He tried to gouge Primus again and again, and to make it worse there was a close up of his fingers searching for the eye sockets.
Nothing accidental or on the spur of the moment.
With that sort of Video, he was always going to go for a long time.

Thought 5 was almost on the light side of the scale. Again he is a d*ck and i for one wouldn't care if he was outed for life. Talentless, no skilled hack.
