We all know that Buddy is a superstar, matchwinning player who is an impossible matchup for almost any defender in the league. Almost any...

Enter Fletcher Roberts. This is the kind of guy you bring in when your B-grade and above KPDs are unavailable. He is what's known as a "break glass in case of emergency player". Why? Because he is absolutely mediocre in every aspect of the game. Affectionately nicknamed "Sid" due to his bizarre appearance and Sloth-like movement around the ground, Fletch somehow owns a Premiership medallion despite anyone's best attempt to explain this fact. So how is it possible for this list-clogger to take down the best KPF of his generation?

It's called The Fletcher Roberts Effect. Fletch's mediocrity is so dense that it fills the air around him, giving a -15 debuff to x-factor to anyone in a close vicinity to him. Without his x-factor, Buddy just becomes a regular KPF. Fletch's mediocrity is invasively contagious so the key is to keep him one out with Buddy at all times to avoid infecting our other defenders.

Buddy will kick 1.3 for the game and the Dogs will win by 7 points. Fletcher Roberts to get 3 brownlow votes for three spoils and 8 kicks at 62.5% efficiency.

Ridiculous Scrag. Not since Bartholomew Hislop Lanley danced a merry jig at Prescott Theater has a defender ever got 1 vote let alone 3.

Other then that, i can find no other fault with your midday musing.

Buddy to kick 8 and completely discombobulate Fletch
Buddy to mirror his 15 shot on goal effort on us from a few years ago.

2 goals 11 behinds 2 OOB. Fletch will push him to the flanks.

I’ve got Franklin as my SuperCoach captain. That’ll help offset the pain. That, and like Liam Ryan - he’s fun to watch even though it’s hurting your team.

Buddy could kick anything this week. Wouldn’t surprise me if he kicked 11.5 or 2.9. It’ll be a close game or Sydney will rip our tattered defence a new one.
