All the major faiths could be accused of being homophobic in one way or another. Izzy isn't a mainstream Christian and it is often the case that non-mainstream faiths can be more extreme than the mainstream.

Coulda saved emselves a lotta heartache if they just admitted from the outset their policy was in contradiction with itself at the time. heck what Joyce woulda said - would've been a lot better off IMO.

I have no idea how much QANTAS tips into RA in sponsorship, but I do know that if I was a QANTAS shareholder I would not be overjoyed with how some of my company's cash just got spent, directly or indirectly.

Either direct or perceived pressure got to RA here and I suspect if they had their time again they would likely have employed a different strategy to handling Folau's keyboard antics.
