Crows on Gold Coast 14-19 February.

I'm pleased to announce that the squad will be coming up to QLD for a training camp on 14th Feb (their wives will be so pleased ;)) until 19 Feb. They will be training at Southport Football Club on Monday/Tuesday and Thursday. The Club has invited all Crows fans in SE QLD to their open training sessions. :thumbsu::D

Monday's session is a partial recovery/strength session from 8.30am. Tuesday and Thursday are normal training sessions from 9.30am.

Are you sure, because they play the PAP's at 4.30 on the 13th of Feb, allow the boys a full day of recovery before sending them up to QLD. Could be a late flight I suppose, but just would have thought heading up early on the monday would have been a better choice. (Would also give the wives a chance to see them on the 14th:rolleyes:)

Wish they'd done this 2-3 years ago when I was living on the Coast though, that would have been great.

Yes I'm sure. They don't leave Adelaide until 6.35pm Sunday, so at least they have the day to recover and spend with their wives/girlfriends.

Further to the above info:

Monday is recovery/strength and Southport Sharks oval 8.30am-10.30am.
Tuesday 9.30am - 12pm
Thursday 9.30am-12.30pm

Wed (day off)
Fri Conditioning session with a Gold Coast surf club. Depart Gold Coast, arrive Adelaide 6.05pm.

Nice to hear they will be up here in the sun. Can't get down to the Coast, as this bloody thing called work, gets in the way.

Perhaps after they sample some of the Qld. wares (???? ) they'll relocate.

Tippett and Moran will be pleased considering they train at their former club. :)

Southport is a massive oval, allowing us to train on a genuine AFL sized oval, which should be good, oh and the facilities are pretty good too. The tavern/pokies are pretty well used as well so it should give us some pretty good exposure which we wouldn't otherwise get thanks to the FTA agreements up there.

Yeah thats great :( the Crows are training and playing in Brisbane this year!

Don`t mind me, I`m still confounded that they will not set foot in NSW for the second year in a row.

And they call this a national competition:p

Well, technically Southports on the Gold Coast;) But hey, considering we've lost to the Swans, what? Once in the past 10 years? The more we play them the better:D

So this would be to bring AFL to the new franchise before the GC17 starts next season.

If that`s the case, all NSW Crows supporters can expect the boys to visit Blacktown next year. :thumbsu::thumbsu:
