didn't mind Olarenshaw he wanted to come to North when he got traded to Collingwood, by the time he got to North his body was shot, not really his fault. Not like he went to a fat farm and ate all the fat like piggy calthorpe.

Rob Peterson made his debut as a 16 year old. Retired at about 23 to become a doctor. Kicked 7 against Geelong to help win one of our few games in'71.

I'm also old enough to remember Robbie Peterson debuting as a 16 year old- a rover I think.

Robbie Petersen
Skilfull, retired at 23 to become a Dr. Was a yard slow but very talented. Played his last game in the 1974 losing GF me thinks.

Robbie had a couple of brothers - Viv and Len - who played for North, too. AFAIK, all three became doctors.

I also have it on good authority that Robbie's nephew is a semi-regular poster on this very forum.

Damien Houlihan. Kicked a bag for the Pies as a 17 year. Then went up the bush to play.
North redrafted Houlihan. Must of hit the gym hard. Came back as a big unit. Didnt do much.

Micky Dowdle.
No. 11 and a winger I think. Beautiful left fook kick. represented NMFC on World of Sports champion kick (along with John Dugdale) for quite a few years. Good player in a lousy era.

Phil Ryan
No 19. About 6'4". Awkward type but could take a serious hanger and kick a few goals. Once we became a great team in the 70s his days were numbered.

Johnny Moylan
All I remember of Moylan was his long hair and he was a good kick with both feet (not Maurice Boyce quality though). HBF'er I believe.
