Last time we beat hwthorne was when Dawson was still their and Rocca kicked a bag on him.LOL

Talk today that Hawthorn will challenge this suspension, as (I believe) they basically have nothing to lose, as even if they lose the appeal he gets 1 week anyway.

Can't see him getting off, but the defense they will use is that Buddy's team mate pushed Aker into Buddy.

I think he will still get 1 week.

I think we are and we have shown it by smashing the dogs and we dominated the saints in the first 3qts of the game it was on poor accuracy that costed us the game if we kick 3 of em the saints would have been down by 19 points and it would have been different for them mentaly so i dont think we are that far off. But we must win the next 4 games all very winable.

Yes we smashed the Dogs, and it was a good win but they aren't close to Geelong and St.Kilda either.

At this point we still have a bit to go to be where those two sides are. Hopefully that will come at some stage this year.

Wouldn't you know it,Franklin will appeal and i reckon he'll get off.

SHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hang on didn't he have a bad record with tribunal ?

He is contesting cause if he loses the case he still only gets one week.

Franklin will probs get off now that they chose to challange it but i hope he doesnt we need to win this game and i dont care how we need to get the confidence back in to the team.

Plus you can't hit players in the Head and Buddy hit Aker in the head so it should be tough t***ies to Buddy

Yer true but it was pretty soft and he slowed down whenhe actually bumped him but the the thing that could go against him is that he had eyes on the man rather then the ball or play

Fair Enough but as you say he had eye for the Man not the Ball

We'd be better off with him in.

The better our odds of winning on paper, the worse we perform.

I've only just seen the incident, and I say this as a Buddy-hater; he should get off. That "bump" is a complete load of shit, it's not of significant enough force to constitute anything, he would be monumentally hard-done-by to miss a week for that crap. The AFL have to stop catering for the "will somebody please think of the children!" generation. :(
