This morning on SEN Greg Denim in KB's show said that Freo were is 'Disarray' and that there were forces working against Harvey who will be sacked before the season proper.

Now I may be in Melbourne but I have heard nothing like this and the general feeling was that Harvey was doing a good job rebuilding the list for the future. The team looks fit and happy, the club is well run and financially in the black.

Is it just me or is this another attempt to put our coach under pressure to be terminated before the new season has even begun? He also came out with the pearl that Freo have 'Never beaten Essendon in Victoria.' Pity I was there in 1998 to watch that lovely victory.

Freo, as usual is the whipping boy of Victorian journalists.

Well I expected comments about Harves getting the sack, but not THIS early. Harvey was always going to be under the pump in 2010 and under a massive amount of pressure to perform.

It's only going to get worse until he is either signed or sacked so we will just have to get used to it, as will the players, and Harvey. He doesnt really strike me as the kinda person who gives a stuff what the media says anyway.

A few months back my uncle came to me with some rumoured info. He has some connection through his business to a guy high up in WAFC and the dockers. The WAFC guy said there was a meeting amoungst the freo board about the legality of getting rid oh Hart and Harvey.

My uncle asked the Dockers guy, who at first said that he knew nothing of it. A week later he came back and said it was in fact true that a meeting had taken place.

At first I dimissed it as being my Wiggle loving uncle stiring the pot. However, two to three weeks later Hart is gone.

So I could believe these is some truth to the story unfortunately.

I have said for several years now I think FFC sufffers from the rivalry from south vs East Freo with supporters of each of the WAFL clubs trying to undermine the other. I have no evidence of this, just a feeling.

However, until I see some action I tend not to believe these sorts of rumour as I an convinced there is a portion of the WA public and media, outside of the FFC that are determined to distablise the club. Or it could be just paranoia.

Like the Mcphee pick, I will believe it when I see something offical from the club and not rely on two bit jounalist that arent inteligent enough to come up with a decent story and instead just make shit up about freo to try and make a name.
