I was just wanting to say i think your mob will go very close to it in 2008. I would have your team as such;

Obviously a very strong team on paper, and by looks, one of the best backs in the league. Forward line is excellent also, hopefully Drum comes on well, and i believe Campbell is a very promising player.
Obviously put some new draftees in there--- Palmer. But i don't know what your others are like.
i still think your midfield is a little slow. Would you like Tenace and Shannon Byrnes for free!!!

i hope your right. and yes we will take tenace and byrnes for free, and you can have adam campbell for free, he is useless. palmer and hinkley will inject pace into our midfield and hopefully foster progresses. your team will still be the team to beat though

nah, cant trust fremantle anymore. theres no way i can say that fremantle will make the 8 let along the 4.

every year i say they'll make the 8, how can they not. they have pavlich. they always seem to **** it up.

cant trust them, ill say fremantle can finish anywhere from 1-16. thats the most definitive answer im giving on them.

Barring injuries,the dockers do have a strong team on paper,no reason why they can't be top 4 next year.

cheers cat fella very good effort for a team you do not support, add peake + foster in that team and the pace is there.
Hopfully Palmer + Hinkley can slot in for even more speed.

Yes a very good effort indeed. The main change I would have is Peake as a certain starter, and Murphy and M Carr in the WAFL. Dodd is a better version of M Carr.
O'Brien, Foster, Ibbotson and Mark Johnson will have the opportunity to play. M Carr and Murphy will probably be on the outer to start the season.

Champ I'd be more worried about your team next year than ours, I'm quite confident we'll rise above our year, can your team do the same?

When could you ever? I remember back in 1996 we caned Carlton on a 22 match winning streak and then a few weeks later lost to Fitzroy who were on a huge losing streak.

I do tend to agree that more this year than any other, i've got no idea what's going to happen.

I'm not going to tip Freo to finish in a particular ladder position because you just cannot predict them accurately. Anywhere between 1st and 12th.

I think there is a fair bit of fluidity to the potential make-up of the 8 next year, with Geeeeeelong the obvious stand-out. After that, I can see no reason why we can't grab a spot as the other teams are very beatable. The big question is on our new coaching regime.

 

[Frigate]

Last year we seriously underperformed. No one can dispute that. Harvey has put the foot down, the troops seem to be already training hard. We have a good balance of experience and quite a few coming into their prime like Mundy, Johnson, Peake and Schammer. Suspensions will be down. We have a good draw, I am going for top 5.
