I'm actually really nervous about this one. Any team with big Tex and Dangerfield is a worry. Our inconsistency fails to inspire confidence.

Everyone keeps talking about how this a must-win for Adelaide but it's also definitely must-win for us. Any more slip-ups could derail our season and any chances of snaring a Top 4 spot. After some mixed results and inconsistency at the start of the seasons it's time to really step up now and take the game on.

Freo by 10 pts.

Feeling good about this one, freo by 36, Pav 4, Mayne 3 and back in town, Sandi bog.
I wish I was as confident as you. I think it will be a scrap. Dangerfield to be BOG in a losing side. To think we could have drafted him over Palmer, SMH. Best midfielder after Gablett, IMO.

They have 4 potential weapons in the forward line, albeit one of them is from WWII era. Think it'll be a really tough match that has to be won in the middle with Sandi the key.

Crowley to blanket Sloane, Pearce will get derby rage from the old days at PA, have a day out and be BOG in a tight one

That is a pretty good looking forward line for Adelaide. If Dangerfield, Tex and Betts have a good day out boys will have to be on the ball.

I'm thinkingthis will closer than most people think.

Dockers by 10 points

Will be watching from Stadium sports bar in Bali

Hope not, I don't want to hear any excuses from the punters.
I guess that goes both ways if Fyfe plays injured.

It's really hard to get a gauge on how well we're travelling at the moment. Every team we beat comprehensively ends up being well beaten by some other MOTR side a week later. Adelaide is a side with no real excuses. This game, even though it's at home, will give us a good idea of how we're going.

This is a defining game for both teams. Silvagni and Grey both being held back from WAFL suggests McPharlin and Fyfe will go down to the wire with fitness.
Adelaide have an intimidating blend of experience, hardness and brilliance and I'm fairly certain so do we from the outside looking in.
Expecting a cracking contest and I expect us to prevail but it is a long way from a gimmee.

Agreed, getting nervous now, Adelaide seem to bring their A game against us.

This could be a ripper
