palmer won't be an emergency you would think. someone must be under an injury cloud

Palmer wont play IMO
Bradley will play - Josh Carr won't IMO

That gives us way too many KPP's for a day when Showers are forecast

Good tanking:thumbsu:

Port beat us at subi and we had Bell. Now we don't have one of our best mids this year and we are playing at AAMI... unlikely we were going to win anyhow. This palmer "injury" has come at a perfect time for the upcoming Daniel Rich Derby next week.

I reckon we'll win Sunday. No Lade, no Burgoyne, no Cornes and they had their grandfinal last week.

Lock in a win this week and next and say goodbye to the priority pick.

Two smalls out of the side and a tall and a small coming in with 2 talls among the emergencies doesn't look too clever with showers and a max of 12 degrees forecast.

got a similar feeling

the important thing is we keep pick 3

The priority pick is another quality midfielder, at that pick you could get a star if you're lucky. 2 more wins would be disastrous.

Palmer will play, he said so himself, apparently his knees are fine and the newspapers are making it a big deal but it isnt

Do we have anything else though dom?

:o
Fair call.

We certainly had more depth for talls than smalls at the start of the year and to lose Bell, Hasleby, Headland, Webster, Black, Foster and Matt Carr has left the cupboard bare.

Regardless, we'll win Sunday. :thumbsu:

Palmer will definitely play, he is fine and knee injury was not there.

The kid is just exhausted and battered from throwing himself in at the contest like nobody's business since round 2. I think Cameron "monkey" Mooney clobbering him over the head repeatedly down at feral park may have been the trigger for a rest.

Palmer with cartilage problems, concerns me. I wouldnt be risking his future at all. We want 12+ years out of him. Playing him achieves nothing. Its not as if we have anything to achieve by winning. A competitive loss is whats on order tomorrow and the derby.

If hes not at risk play him in the derby for the experience.

Robert Shaw just said on ABC radio that Palmer was a definite starter!?

Has he just let the cat out of the bag? Palmer's only listed as an emergency...

Maybe it's a Mexican double bluff and Palmer won't play.

We don't want to name too strong a team. This is a bit of a danger game for our PP.

Surely we wouldn't risk the kid. Its only Port, jeeze....

Still perplexed as to why Murphy is getting a game however....

Maybe it's a Mexican double bluff and Palmer won't play.

Or a Columbian triple bluff and he will play?

Or a Mongolian quadruple bluff and he will, he wont, he will and ends up he wont play?

Or you could be really tricky with a Swedish quintuplet bluff and confuse the hell out of the AFL?
