Freo/Bris game thread

Brissie are on fire. We've caught them on the wrong week.

What doesn't help is that the free kick count is 7 - 1 against us! I don't disagree with any of the ones that they got(except maybe the one behind play that we haven't seen?) but IMO, and I know Jonny Docker the ump reckons i am an ignorant biased supporter, there were 5 VERY OBVIOUS frees that should of been given to us that were deliberately ignored by the maggots!

I wish bad Freo showed up. Instead, insipid, cowardly gutless Freo have put in an appearance, combined with bumbling, fumbling Freo who, on the rare occasion we actually get the ball, turn the ball over. We actually deserve to be further behind at half time, because there is no way we should be a chance of winning this game, but we're only 6 goals behind.

It's been more the 50/50's that we don't get and they do. weak free kicks to Bradshaw, Brown and Black (off the top of my head) are paid when similar incidents happen to McManus, Medhurst and Black which are ignored.

It's not the obvious ones, it's the 50/50's that they get and we don't. It's the 9th week in a row that this has happened.

Anyone see idiot features umpire Nicholls go into fits of confusion when Akermanis claimed the ball went out of bounds, ensuring he consults with a couple of other umpires? Yet our whole team is waving our arms in front him telling him the siren's gone, and he waves us away like flies.

The only plus I can find across the whole ground is Paul Medhurst, who has been very good

a pile of sh1te would've looked better out there...our midfield was just atrocious and if Justin Longmuir doesn't want to actually jump for the ball at the ruck, what ing use is he?

As bad as the scoreboard looked I found the endeavour wasn't bad. Those freekicks that can go either way always seem to go against us. Its not like its blatantly bad umpiring but we are consistantly getting the short straw. Medhurst was good as was blackie. I just hope this is schoefield's last game.

I agree to a certain extent but we are second to the ball at every bounce, which means we are tackling or spoiling all of the time...
Hase needs to get a fricking kick

Poor old Kap wasn't taking it too well. Purple Afro, Old Freo away jumper and was even gutsy enough to wear my purple jocks on the outside of my shorts. Right behind the goals after I got booted out of the trust for the wig and sat with some other Freo supporters. And wasn't that a great day for all concerned

Funny thing is I'm actually a slight bit taller than MJ, a fraction shorter than Jlo and almost (but not quite) built like Pavlich after seeing them after the game (f*** he's huge).

Ah well...

CC, I really would like to kill you for ruining Schammer's season.

Actually pretty sure I saw Haze and Schammer at the centre bounces once or twice there, think CC gave it a crack but didnt make alot of difference. Haze is hobbled with some kind of injury (groin still I reckon) and Byron hasnt seen the centre for awhile so has probably forgotten how to play there. I ll check the tape (if I can bare it) and confirm these allegations .

To state the obvious we have some work to do.
