Woohoo, I just watched my NEW Freo sticker fly off my car today........and I was worried it wouldn't make the season out

The fading stickers have generally corresponded with mid-season fade outs. Did it fly up or down spit? Might give us an idea on what lies ahead.

Slowly came unstuck from the top, got about three quarters then gave up......please don't tell me this is a sign

That might represent a slight hesitation in our season, perhaps an unexpected loss, before we take off onwards and upwards. I was actually more interested in the trajectory of the flight of the sticker than the way it came unstuck (ie, did it fly off and up and get caught in the wind, or did it just plummet helplessly to the ground???)

Mine was stuck on about...hmmm...a month and a half ago and it's peeling from every corner. My other two (06, 07) are still on, but also peeling.

I have it on very good authority that GentlemanJeff is the chief glue mixing labourer at the glue factory.

until recently, i have parked my car outside my old place in Richmond with both the 06 and 07 Freo stickers on the back and no one has ever broken my windows!

i attribute them still being on the car to their relativity to the home of football and that one day.. one day...

BTW - my WCE 2008 sticker was blown off my car 2 days ago thanks to a high pressure cleaner.

The stickers must have come from the same company.

The Freo '08 stickers are substandard! My '07 is still there, but I've been through 2 '08 ones already, the second of which is just about falling off. The one on my wife's car is looking sick as well.

Is this a bad omen?

Only if you are superstitious.
Otherwise, the stickers are substandard and annoying members because we can't display our colours...

Yeh my WC mate's ones were all peeling when I saw his car at the PS derby. I laughed at him. But then realised the next day mine were too

Funny thing though, Mum's Saints ones have peeled off of her car. Her older ones are still on there.

Try cleaning the surface properly first..... mine stay on, no worries at all.

I don't put my sticker up as i have Freo number plates... the number plates are still going strong though

I cleaned mine with methylated spirits and they still haven't stayed on.

The first car that I put mine on had a rather vertical slant on the window and managed to get through the whole season (just). But the car that I have now with a somewhat flater rear window the stickers don't last long at all.
