Dont know if anyone has read this article, but it isnt bad (Considering it is written by the Schmook).

I hope that we do come out fliring like the bye we had last year (the one where we were meant to play in Taz)

Part i found particularly interesting was the following:

"Harvey said injured players Roger Hayden (foot) and Tendai Mzungu (knee), who both completed restricted training, were progressing well, as was Michael Barlow (leg).

"I spoke to (sports science manager) Jason Weber this morning and he said they're coming up a little bit quicker than what we would have thought," the coach said.

"Hopefully in coming weeks all these guys start to put pressure on guys in the side."

I assume Jason Weber wasn't referring to Barlow as such, just Hayden & Mz.

I'd say so - we seem to be getting mixed messages with Barlow. Not extremes mind you, but one day it's "going quite well, slightly ahead of schedule, will start heavier training in x weeks" then it's "slight but minor setback, wont resume training for an indefinite period".

In any case, the only consistent thing we've heard is "we aren't setting a date for his return" which makes total sense of course - and backs up what you're saying Nicko.

Thanks for the link jmadrox. :thumbsu:

The fact we only have 12 days between matches works well, I think the Bulldogs had 16-17 days.

Half the players had a bye in round 21 last year and played well the following week.
