entered in the Zeditave.

Ran 3rd of 4 horses in a Mansfield maiden.
Perhaps something the trainer knows that we dont.

Because its a field of 7 starters and it pays prizemoney to 8th placing!!!!!!!

So it'll get $2,000 for running 7th (last), better than a bloody maiden win at a non TAB meeting!

You know with those 10% bonuses for today's racing, do you get that bonus if you back a horse straight out for the win? Like Consiton Gem in the first paid odds of $4.40, say you put $10 on that will you get a return of $48.40? I'm not sure if that's what they mean by superbets...

That is the exact reason I dont take quaddies on Supertab.
$1.40 fave comes out & punters are left stranded on a horse they didnt bother taking in the 1st place with no hope of cancelling their ticket.

Another TAB debacle,why is it so hard to fix stuff like this?

Spot on, I had my quaddie and doubles based solely around Here de Angels. Not happy with how it went but hey thats the rules I suppose. A Tabcorp spokesperson's repsonse on the issue of substitutes "if punters don't like the substitute system in quaddies they should try a parlay formula bet where late scratchings will be refunded". Fantastic - the punter gets slugged 16% every time!

Why were they scratched anyway? I was on course Rick McIntosh on the PA gave no info at all about the shambles going on at the start, simply three scratchings on "vets advice".

Here De Angels went off in the gates but to be honest Ive seen a lot worse let run.The other two were either side of it,dont think they were hurt but obviously they got fired up too.

The other issue was how quickly they let them go,surely with the 1st two faves scratched at the barrier(1 of which is $1.40),there was a case for fresh betting for a couple of minutes.Deduction was 71c in the dollar.

I took Here De Angels in about four quadies, so do I get refunded my money or does it get substituted so I end up getting the race start favourite who did SFA.
