Seems there is going to be another Intra Club match, tomorrow at Gosch's Paddock, but this time it will be a "closed session", which usually means only pies supporters are allowed to hang around and watch.

The website states tomorrow's session as "closed", so no idea what time it will start, or even if they want it to be "completely closed" off or just for media and opposition scouts to be kept away.

I have the opportunity to go in tomorrow, I just don't want to go all that way and be told to "go home" basically.

Heath Shaw let it slip on Kevin Bartlett's show this morning apparently, just wondering whether anyone heard this?

if it keeps puring like this, they might spend their time better by building an ark. this is an omen of the coming of theholypies.com

I went for a bit, will try and put a report up but im heading out now and won't be home for a while, so hopefully someone else was there that can report.

Just a quick thing we looked like we moved the ball better/quicker than last year.

Looking Forward too this as this would give us an Idea who is playing in the NAB Cup

COLLINGWOOD forward Paul Medhurst showed the ankle injury that ruined his 2009 season was well and truly behind him as he blitzed his club’s final hit-out ahead of next week’s NAB Cup opener against St Kilda.

The Magpies’ intra-club match at Gosch’s Paddock on Friday morning, featuring almost their entire list, was their most intense of the summer.

And Medhurst’s performance was among the biggest pluses for coach Mick Malthouse and his coaching staff on a day when there didn’t seem to be any negatives.

Josh Fraser (knee) and Dale Thomas (calf), both restricted in recent weeks, each played stints although Fraser only played a quarter as planned, while Anthony Corrie - who had been in a moonboot a fortnight ago - also played.

Collingwood football manager Geoff Walsh said the main thing was the club had got through without sustaining any fresh injuries.

Forward John Anthony was the only big-name player not to play, although the sharp-shooter isn’t far off resuming from a shoulder injury.

Great to hear about Medders.

Going by the report, the Rus played and got through unscathed.

Very positive news.

Hopefully he plays next week vs Saints and also hoping Jack isn't too far away.

I will try and write a proper report when i get the chance but right now im home for about 5mins, Impressive to me were Ball (way better than last week), Reid, obviously Medhurst who had a few different opponents through the day, Didak was really good when thrown into the middle. Jolly was impressive again.

Thanks for the Quick Update and Look forward to the Full Report when you have time

So at the moment who are we expecting not to be available for selection against the Aints next week?

My guess would be;

Brad Dick
Josh Fraser
Anthony Corrie
Jack Anthony
Sean Rusling

Anyone else?
