All it takes is an image from that Jurassic Bark episode and I almost cry.

lol.

Well davo, after asking so nicely I could only reply.

I really didn't concentrate a whole lot on the game as I was chatting away with a few people and got carried away.

This was the true intraclub game I was told was coming this week and thats why i was surprised to see the game advertised last week.

This week they played 4 quarters and had the full load of umpires.

- Medhurst BOG, played all game, kicked 5-6 goals.
- Ben Reid, played the qtr back role, had about 10-15 kicks, what would happen is if the ball was stuck on the wing they would kick it back to Reid who positioned himself on the defensive 50. Will play games imo.
- MaCaffer played well, did his chances of selection no harm, played mostly on the ball.
- Luke Ball, much better today, worked really hard and was rewarded. MM was very impressed I overheard him talking saying can't believe we got him for nothing.
- Rusling and Anthony were still no shows
- Thomas played about a half, same with Cloke
- Jolly impressed me again but only played about 1 and a half qtrs.... was still the best ruckman on the ground.
- Wood will be number two ruck, for at least the first 5-6 rounds as Fraser is no where near fit.
- Buckley moved to HB again, suited better there, was ok... loves to kick on his right.. like johnson does on his left.. did have stints on Medhurst though as did a couple of others, one i didn't know their name and tooves and harry all spent time on him (i think, maybe im thinking of the first game)..
- Wellingham played half back and was much better than last week, got a fair bit of it.
- Swan was quiet looked a little out of form, did the old swan waddle and miss from close range
- Leon was leon... kicked a couple of rippers our best rover imo. From memory he was playing on the circle who just couldn't keep up with him.
- Blight is one too watch might get games if he impresses in the NAB cup but highly doubtful he will play early in the year.
- L Brown gave presti a mini bath from where i was standing, Brown was by far our most impressive forward. Looked like he had a point to prove.

All in all good hitout, good to see guys putting their hands up, next session is tomorrow when the team will be selected.

Thank you very much.

I have Heard Blight will play Friday.

If thats true he's a player I really look forward to watching.
Not 100% sure as the News is a few weeks old.

But I will check my Source

Hey favourites, where you write:

- L Brown gave presti a mini bath from where i was standing, Brown was by far our most impressive forward. Looked like he had a point to prove.

Isn't that 2 weeks in a row? What's going on?

He has the body and a little bit if talent.

Serviceable player that has been blamed for all of stuff he can't control

Presti played on Cloke week one, honours even.

But he was beaten this week for sure.

You have to note Presti has had a slow preseason, only joined the main group around 4 weeks ago. (not 100% sure of the issue)

Was Reid playing on Dawes again? How did my namesake play?

Correct from what i noticed, but Reid was always free as Dawes was playing a part in the zone we have been playing. Dawes was decent, started well but fell away.
